It is an interesting alternative to XCOM, which might be even more appealing for some players. It still has some rough edges, but it is a very solid debut.

We Happy Few is great when it works, but it not always does it. It’s a game with a great foundation that has clearly been rushed. It’s already a good game, but after a few patches it should be a much more recommendable experience.

Iro Hero borrows some ideas from other shoot ‘em ups, but also adds its own flavor. It has a very unique take on design/difficulty, so it might not be for every player, but if you understand it, we think you’ll enjoy it.

Dave Gilbert has created one of the best graphic adventures we’ve played in the last few years. From the visuals to the gameplay, it’s a solid experience you shouldn’t miss.

Dead Cells is so big, so well designed, so addictive and so beautiful we can’t stop playing it. A must-have you cannot miss.

Overcooked! 2 is one of those games you have to try. It’s accessible but can be very challenging, and it’s great if you play with friends. This sequel allows us to play online too, so there are no excuses this time.

The Persistence is a great horror experience in VR, deep, complex and very enjoyable. Bear in mind, though, you need to enjoy roguelike games and be fine with free navigation in VR.

Our World is quite good... at least for a few hours. It ends up being repetitive, but while the fun last it’s an enjoyable game.

Although the core gameplay is solid, it’s not as engaging as it should be, and all the excitement fades away after a few hours.

Sonic Mania is back, and now it's better than ever. The additions are great, the gameplay is excellent, and we just can't get enough. If you like old-school Sonic, you'll love this game.

Mothergunship is a very interesting game, with a frenetic bullet-hell FPS gameplay, although it ends up feeling a little bit repetitive and empty.

On their way to create the true Burnout spiritual succesor, Three Field Entertainment delivers an evolution of the well known Crash mode. It's fun and enjoyable, but a little bit pricey for the content it offers, and the control during the driving sequences needs polishing.

The Spectrum Retreat isn’t the most original game when it comes to puzzles, but its setting, narrative and story make up for it. If you want to use your brain while you discover a very interesting story, go for it.

Unfortunately, certain failures in the narrative, in its structure and in the design of levels, with disappointingly short and simple dungeons, prevent it from achieving the excellence it was striving for, which does not mean that it's not a totally recommendable product for any fan of the genre who misses the more classic conventions with a touch of modernity.

Captain Toad still is a great game, and it’s original concept works great on 3DS and Switch. The new levels are not enough to buy the game again, but if you haven’t played it yet or you want to enjoy it on another platform it’s a great choice.

If you've been waiting to play this game, it's finally available in the West. It has some shortcomings, but it's a good game overall and, of course, this is the best way to play it.

Hollow Knight is one of the best metroidvania games out there, and it works great on Switch. If you haven't played it yet, you have another opportunity to discover one of the best indie games of the generation.

Salary Man Escape is a strange but charming game for VR. It doesn't make the most of the technology, but it is a very good puzzle game.

This title is quite enjoyable nowadays, since its destruction-focused action holds up pretty well today. It might get repetitive if you don’t get creative, but it still delivers a good experience.

After the uniqueness El Shaddai offered, we’ve found The Lost Child quite generic. It’s entertaining and works as a dungeon crawler, but that’s pretty much it.

On Switch, Crash is as enjoyable as on any other platform. Yes, it makes some visual sacrifices, but its gameplay and content remain the same.

Wolfenstein II still is a great game, and if you’re willing to make some visual sacrifices, you’ll get an excellent portable version that showcases what the Switch is capable of.

If you enjoyed Rainbow Moon, you’ll find a similar experience here. It’s more polished and not so surprising, but still good.

Lumines is back with its great and rhythmically addictive gameplay. It doesn’t offer any relevant new features, but it still is one of the best games in its genre.

BlazBlue is another great game by Arc System Works, more accessible but still incredibly deep and technical.

If you’re looking for a puzzle-based adventure with a touch of platforming, this is your game. It’s great for co-op too, but it can be played on your own as well.

Mario is back with a great game, that lacks content and more online options. Still, the core gameplay is so good you’ll have hours of entertainment.

This is a interesting management game particularly for Jurassic Park fans, but it’s very simple and limited.

Wreckfest is a great racing game that knows how to find the balance between Destruction Derby-like matches and more traditional races. It lacks some more modes and better performance, but it’s an enjoyable game overall.

Unravel is back with a beautiful, light-hearted adventure that adds an excellent coop mode. It also offers extra levels that are great for those looking for a challenge.

MotoGP 18 is still good, it has updated its engine and looks better than ever, but this isn’t enough. It needs more ambition and modes so it truly feels like an evolution of the series.

The lack of arcade football games makes Legendary Eleven an interesting option, although it’s a little bit flawed.

This is a strange concept that works great. This “pinballvania” offers a unique experience for those who are looking for a different platformer.

Paladins is a very solid hero shooter, with a great core gameplay and very good ideas. You can try it for free and its business model is not abusive at all, so we recommend you give it a try.

Agony has good ideas, but the developers have underrated the complexity of the survival horror genre, and delivered a frustrating experience. Add its poor performance and bugs and you get a forgettable game.

Legends is an ambitious and promising title that can end up being one of the best fighting games on mobile. It needs tons of content, but so far it’s a pretty solid foundation to build upon.

This is a very interesting look at the franchise’s past, made with care and featuring a gallery with tons of art, information and development materials that are just history of our industry.

BattleTech is an excellent strategy game, and it's deep and absorbing. It might feel a little bit hostile at the beginning, but give it some time and you'll discover its great design.
