Some people will insist that it's not worth playing, saying that it's more of the same, but you have the opportunity to play the pinnacle of what Nintendo has learned in the course of many decades, and I don't know what reasons someone would have to ignore it.

Breath of the Wild breathes the fresh air that the series needed, and it's this renovated air that makes this game so phenomenal. It's that sense of freedom, of liberation, of emancipation that we want for our lives, to look at the clock and not feel tortured with routine. That's the feeling that Breath of the Wild brings to every gameplay. If you are a gamer (whatever company you cheer for), don't miss the opportunity to play this Legend of Zelda. Games like this don't pop up every day.

The House in Fata Morgana: Dreams of the Revenants is a true artistic work and does not fail in any aspect of its proposal. Highly recommended for fans of the genre.

Just like six years ago, Tears of the Kingdom presents new grounds in the gaming industry. It is no longer enough to be open: it is necessary to create everything. The player must have his limit expanded beyond the maximum. Every salty penny to be paid in TotK will sooner or later reveal its worth. We are simply looking at one of the best games of the decade, perhaps in history.

World of Goo is a major opus. It's a charming and intelligent game, but, more than that, a mark to the genre (like Tetris decades ago), incorporating features which could not be thought before, like social critics and an atmosphere capable of leading emotion to the player, who not only plays, but observes.

Metroid Prime Remastered is definitely a beautiful indication as an introduction to the 3D Metroid franchise, brings several improvements far beyond what is expected for a remastered version, and has a great purchase value taking into account its contents. Essential for fans and very suitable for those curious about Metroid in general.

In the end, a curious paradox remains: a game with a plot that is about time and does not care even a bit for it, because it's completely timeless.

No DS owner should be without a copy. And if some moron comes complaining about violence, I'll give violence to him myself! The remaining point is an incentive for Rockstar to keep doing their excellent job, because many other perfect games are sure to come.

In the end, everything comes down to the incredible level design and the pure joy of playing. Super Mario 3D World makes 3D Land seem like a prototype. It's a product from a team at its creative peak - it's Mario in its purest essence.

Quoting Robin Williams in the most recent commercial of the game, Skyward Sword is the result of a project of 25 years and a clear confirmation that only the experience of a quarter of a century is able to turn a game into a legend.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U makes some of the biggest advances in the series and it's recommended for anyone who likes fighting games, Nintendo characters, multiplayer and just games in general.

To say that Xenoblade Chronicles is a landmark that will lead the evolution of all JRPGs over the next few years is an exaggeration, but the game shows that there's still creative hope for the genre. With their massive adventure, Monolith Soft did what every JRPG developer should: they looked forward, instead of back to archaic concepts from another era.

A more focused, more vibrant game that surpasses its predecessor and establishes itself as the best game on the Wii U and as the newest masterpiece of the genre.

The meticulous and honest work on story, aesthetics, exploration and combat is accompanied by an impeccable pacing that is surprising given the amount of content available. Are there any issues? Yes, but none of them are obvious during the adventure. Betting on tradition comes at a high risk, but the execution is so perfect that Dragon Quest XI S will retain its relevance for generations to come.

Silksong offers an experience that blends enchantment with certain frustrations. The game keeps the player engaged most of the time, sparking curiosity with each new map explored. I recommend Silksong especially for Metroid enthusiasts, but not for all players.

Animal Crossing New Horizons is basically perfect. Full of wholesome content that helped us cope with the COVID-19 pandemics, the game keeps the heart of its predecessors while innovating enough to make it unique. It may not have won Game of the Year but it'll be the game we all remember from 2020, for sure.

Pentiment stands as a testament to originality and meticulous attention in gaming. It faithfully recreates the Renaissance era, and the weight of your decisions significantly impacts the entire narrative, making it a game that everyone should experience. A technical marvel on the Nintendo Switch 2, the game features excellent graphics, incredible lighting effects, and fast loading times. It also delivers amazing gameplay with no frame drops. Resident Evil Requiem, although somewhat short when compared to other games in the series, is extremely fun, challenging in the right measure (being even more accessible than other titles in the franchise) and full of secrets and easter eggs. Whether you’re a fan of the series or not, this is a must-play for anyone who owns a Nintendo Switch 2.

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is an excellent game and, also, an excellent remake. It takes the experience of the original and brings it to a new public in a manner that will please both veterans and newcomers. It’s a game that other developers should take note in how to modernize a classic game.

Xenoblade Chronicles is a lesson on how to make a good RPG and is probably one of the most influential RPG games in the past decade, great for beginners in the genre and very challenging to those who want challenges, needing only to toggle the Expert Mode. Replaying this classic that already has two sequels was a great experience.
