Tenchu: Shadow Assassins is a great game, recommended to anyone who enjoys action, thievery and the sensation of being a true ninja.

Among Us brings to the Switch the award-winning experience of 2020's Best Multiplayer Game. Giving us the best of both worlds, the use of touch screen integrated with the control stick movements, at least in portable mode, makes it very comfortable to play. It's really worth it, even if you already have it on other platforms; the Switch experience, at least for me, was better than either on PC and on mobile.

Tiny Bookshop is cozy and welcoming, full of friendly and interesting characters ready to share their stories in exchange for book recommendations. A unique sales simulator that not only encourages you to learn about books but also perhaps encourages new readers.

Hitman: Absolution is another port of prime technical from Feral Interactive, which could offer a little more in terms of performance options. Even so, this version of Switch is highly recommended, even for those who play only on handheld mode.

LOVE ETERNAL is a game that I wouldn't play for long, but the combination of beautiful minimalist art, deep environmental sound, an intriguing fantastical horror story, and stages with a truly rewarding feeling makes it a precious gem that deserves your attention.

Harvest Moon fans who never played the first Rune Factory are obliged to play this one. Natsume promised: Rune Factory is a new franchise, which will follow a different path from Harvest Moon. Until now, the tracked path hasn't disappointed.

Airborne Kingdom is a unique experience in civilization games, in which the only enemies to combat are gravity, the mood of your inhabitants and a possible scarceness of resources with a creative gameplay that is, most of the time, relaxing and fun.

Being a great puzzle game for the switch. TokiTori 2+ is recommended for those who enjoy a relaxing and creative experience. At the beginning of the game some parts will seem impossible and once you get used to the gameplay everything will make sense. With songs that make up the atmosphere of adventure and fun, the game leaves simple and complex puzzles everywhere and will require that the player has the ability to solve what is proposed to him.

Despite being a game whose potential makes it frustrating considering how little is actually accomplished, Spirit of Justice still is the best among the most recent games in the series.

Cold Steel IV, for the best and for the worst, keeps all main characteristics from it's story arc and, finally, closes the Erebonia story for the Trails series. Here we have one of the best modern RPGs and the Switch's portability makes the game even better to be enjoyed.

Forever Entertainment made a promise and delivered: it brought all three remastered Front Mission games into the spotlight with quality-of-life improvements. Front Mission 3: Remake offers a faster experience, enhanced visuals, and better performance for new players, but it does little to add new content to the table compared to the previous two remakes. That being said, it still remains a fun and challenging experience.

Neon Inferno delivers both vertical and fixed shooter gameplay in a great way. Some moments may feel unfair, but nothing that ruins the overall package, which includes a stylish story, great graphics, an outstanding musical score, and fun single-player and co-op mode.

Within its limitations that are typical to Gust games, Second Light shows a care of the developers to create the most pleasant title possible. It’s a game that can be considered good or even great in all of it’s aspects, however it doesn’t contain an aspect to call it excellent. It is certainly a memorable experience due to its battle system and the casual conversations with each character in this summer vacation adventure and one that I recommend to those that are already familiar with Gust output.

Pile Up! - Box by Box is a great 3D platform game, which brings together all the pretty basic elements of games of this genre into a fun experience. Assuming the purpose of a cardboard box, you must use your skills to jump and to stack up other boxes, in order to reach all the objectives and bring peace back to the island.

Maybe not what players hoped to find as a debut of the legendary Tomb Raider games on the console, The Lara Croft Collection sure takes what Switch does best: It's local multiplayer. The Guardian of Light and The Temple of Osiris comes packed with the DLCs for an accessible price, giving the players a different take, but not less interesting on the action, puzzles and platform that the series are known for.

Scrap the MegaMan-esque pistol and add a FLUDD-alike hose. Wagon's apparently subtle job change is actually the biggest improvement Mighty Switch Force! 2 does. It allows the game's core - the switch gameplay - to shine brighter, with enemies being more puzzle-centric than the previous more simplistic path obstacles. This sequel pretty much functions like the original, but it's the little enhancements, such as the great learning curve for each tile fitting into single levels, that makes the game not only feels more challenging, but better. If only the art styles used in some of the last levels got more time in the spotlight.

Nobunaga's Ambition: Awakening - Complete Edition is a great strategy addition to the new Nintendo Switch 2, making excellent use of its new features. Although it lacks key elements found in Romance of the Three Kingdoms (also by Tecmo) and has a steep learning curve, there's no denying it's a rich, enjoyable, and challenging game to dive into. A must-buy for hardcore strategy game players.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is an excellent real-time strategy game set in feudal Japan, featuring a great atmosphere (despite a somewhat predictable story), traditional control options and mouse support (Joy Con 2), and solid performance, along with a fairly accessible difficulty level for the genre.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy can be a product made because of the nostalgia of a certain public, however, the games can be enjoyed even by today’s standards due to it’s quality. It’s a title recommended to those that miss the series and to those that like the “collect-a-ton” sub-genre. Also, it’s simplicity makes it a great game for children and to those that are not used to gaming.

Nintendo will surely need to work on new artistic and mechanical styles to make its future 2D Mario games attractive, as Super Mario Maker 2 takes all the best from Super Mario Maker 1 and boosts the game with new options, a better interface, more customization, themes, night mode, interesting enemies and wraps the whole package with a fun new story mode and an online mode that even with its flaws, is competent.Super Mario Maker 2 offers the ultimate experience for Mario 2D fans and certainly yields much more fun than the 60$ what it is charged for.

Atelier Ryza uses the series classic gameplay loop and brings a few new systems to it, making this one of the best in the entire series. It’s an excellent beginning of a new arc, an excellent opportunity for new players and an excellent game for anyone that loves RPGs.

Dandara is a well=executed game. It's a game that's designed for the most dedicated players, with high levels of challenge in an undeniably tortuous learning curve. With totally innovative mechanics, a character with strong identity in visual terms, the Long Hat House game is an ode to Brazilian culture and Belo Horizonte. It's really exciting to see a Brazilian team with a game as consistent as Dandara.

Fire Emblem Engage is a title that will divide series fans. Those that love the strategic gameplay will find one of the best titles in the series and one of the best strategy games of the Switch. For those that like the series for its stories and characters, it’s best to hope that the next title in the series fared better in this regard.

The Fall Part 2: Unbound is the best Puzzle game ever launched in the Switch eShop so far. Bringing such a good story makes the price paid worth it. The graphics are not ugly but it is also nothing special, worth noting that it is visible the difference from portable to TV mode. The game is still divided into other genres, which avoids repetition. The gameplay has minor issues with the character's targeting system, but nothing that interferes too greatly with the gaming experience. It is highly recommended for fans of puzzles and a good story, and can entertain you for several hours.

Paranormasight has more pros than cons in many aspects. It brings an innovative gameplay and flowchart that, sadly, it's not used in an efficient way, sometimes presenting the interesting part of the gameplay just to throw it away to never return. But still, the game has beautiful artwork and music, an incredible story with memorable characters and, if it wasn't for the mentioned flaws, it could be easily the best mystery visual novel out there.

Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a love letter to fans. Everything the game tried to do, and did, was to please those that experienced at least one Professor Layton and one Phoenix Wright, and managed to enjoy the stay in these worlds. The world here may be different, but it's still familiar.
