Star Fox the on-rail shooter returns once more in a remake with a beautiful visual fidelity and remains true to the same fun gameplay we used to know and love. This is a 1:1 remake, aside from improvements to the story narrative and the graphical upgrade. The game itself did not receive any other significant advancements outside of these 2 components.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book gives us an amazing world aesthetic full of adventure and exploration with various unique ideas. However, this genre of games is not for everyone. I truly wish this game were a more conventional platformer because the Switch 2 at this point in its life cycle, is in dire need of better games.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a pretty entertaining and comedic experience for all fans of Batman especially when it has many deep references to the movies, comic lore and TV series. However, it lacks innovation because the LEGO game series still follows the same comfort zone formula with its repetitive activities.

Forza Horizon 6 brilliantly captures the magic of Japan, yet it heavily relies on it. By staying in its comfort zone, the game misses many opportunities to innovate. While it is a great experience, it still feels more like a new location than a real step forward.

SAROS delivered a top-notch Rogue Like experience with gameplay that keeps you on the edge of your seat and a pretty challenging combat. Furthermore, the game provides a fantastic utilization of DualSense features that takes you in even deeper levels of immersion. The end result, a title that is one of the best PS5 exclusives this year.

Pragmata presents a seemingly simple concept, but that establishes a substantial foundation for the game. This simplicity isn't a weakness; on the contrary, it allows for an enjoyable and addictive gameplay style that cleverly and seamlessly blends hacking and shooting. However, the game truly lacks a stronger, more mature storyline. Improving this aspect alone would have elevated the game to a much higher level, making it a far more impactful and complete experience.

Crimson Desert may not be a completely focused game, meaning that it may not shine in certain aspect overwhelmingly, but its diverse set of systems and activities defies repetition and boredom and attempts to break technical and design boundaries. It is certainly a real technical achievement that takes open worlds in games to unprecedented levels, but storytelling is a bit weaker than we expected.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 Twisted Reflection is indeed a unique experience in the world of Monster Hunter. Offering a tactical turn-based combat system, a lovely world to explore, a great story and interesting characters. An all-around fun JRPG; this might just be one of the best spin-offs in the series thus far.

Pokémon Pokopia offers a truly unique simulation game experience, with a huge amount of content that will keep you entertained for hours in both single-player and multiplayer modes. The diverse options will undoubtedly appeal to simulation game enthusiasts. Though the game can be a bit slow-paced for some, and the visual presentation is mediocre.

Resident Evil Requiem delivers a polished, perfectly balanced blend of horror and action, backed by stunning audio-visual presentation and an engaging narrative. While it lacks innovation and heavily recycles ideas from other games in the series, like Resident Evil 4 Remake, it remains a highly enjoyable experience that will undoubtedly satisfy the fans.

Nioh 3 is not just another "Souls-like", it is a title that respects the foundation of the genre while building a unique identity upon it. It masterfully strikes a delicate balance between the harshness of punishment and the thrill of reward. With its compelling story and boss fights that serve as the ultimate test of skill, I can confidently say it is the best Souls-like experience I have ever had.

Code Vein 2 offers a familiar experience for fans of the first game, and it improves the world which is bigger and better this time around. Also, the way the story unfolds is more interesting, especially with the addition of a time travel element. However, it doesn't always succeed in exploiting its new ideas optimally, whether in the integration system or some changes in combat.

Even after a year, the PS5 version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is also frustrating. Perhaps the studio should have postponed the game by another two years to refine it. Despite the deep survival system, realistic shooting, and the beautiful atmosphere of its world, the technical issues, poor performance, and strange design decisions make the experience more frustrating than enjoyable, and the game fails to deliver on what the developers had promised.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 delivers us a Campaign mode with unusual events that could potentially result in a mixed reception by the players followed by the all new Endgame mode packed with various yet repetitive activities and a very exciting Zombie mode keeping you at the edge of your seat. The Outer Worlds 2 takes us into a world filled with freedom and complex moral choices, where your personal decisions shape the story and interact with diverse factions and companions in a way that makes each experience unique. Combat is deeper and more varied, and weapons and abilities are customizable to suit your playstyle, while a unique visual approach and blend of space and retro futurism give the game a futuristic and elegant feel. Despite some flaws, the game remains an excellent, cohesive RPG experience that surpasses the first game in most aspects

Dying Light: The Beast is an enjoyable game for fans of combat and parkour, featuring an open world full of details and intense, gory moments, especially when using the Beast power. However, technical issues, inconsistent AI, repetitive missions, and an unstable save system reduce the fun of exploration and can make the experience frustrating at times. Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is the best way to play this classic game, and again live its magical moments and powerful story. The PC version is solid and free of technical issues as well. Delta feels outdated in some aspects like the loading screens and can't stand up to the other brilliant Konami remake that was released last year - that is Silent Hill 2 - but Snake Eater is a unique game and there is still nothing quite like it.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is a unique blend of simulation, action, and building/management and there is nothing like it out there. It retains the core elements of the first game and expands on them greatly in every way possible. However, it shares similar shortcomings as well, as the pacing remains very slow especially in the first hours of the game, and the story is as confusing as ever.
