Maybe you should stop thinking about picking up that soda for a quick sugar rush, and instead use those pennies for a punt on this game, for a brain rush!

While Volcano Escape is nothing original, its level of polish makes it a standout amongst the competition.

It's one of those games that has the addictive factor that keeps you going back to it again and again for more, coupled with perfectly fitting visuals I find it hard to fault this game.

Re-Volt Classic is a true gem in the racing genre giving countless hours of challenging racing, star-chasing and swearing at evil opponents blasting you with electric bolts. The price is on the high side, and I would have liked it lower to get more players to jump on the buy button. If you want a game that you can really sink your teeth into Re-Volt Classic comes highly recommended.

Not only is it great to look at, with great fish models and animation, realistic water effects and pretty looking locales all running smoothly on my 3GS, but the gameplay itself is great fun.

Rovio has managed to create another compelling Angry Birds game, and I have to say it is the best one yet. Given the amount of nostalgia, and hours of gameplay it provides it is a must for any iOS gamer.

Bring Me Sandwiches!! is a fun platformer with a clear Katamari inspiration. With excellent presentation, spot on touch controls and a fun story it is easy to recommend.

Certainly a welcome return, but it doesn't offer as nearly as much as I had hoped. Tiger Challenge and the Facebook integration are strong additions, and the tight controls, particularly on the iPad version are second to none. But, somehow I expected more from EA… more content, more courses, more tightly integrated commentary, and much more in the visuals department (and that's coming from someone who cherishes gameplay).

Instead of being a clone it brings a completely unique gameplay formula to the App Store, and it is a fun one at that. If you are into match three games or barricade defence games this title comes highly recommended.

The high presentation of Liqua Pop is the icing on the cake to a simple and fun puzzler with great controls and an original take on a classic formula.

I am truly surprised, and actually really glad that Sega has made Sonic Jump a proper standalone game well worth it for both fans, and non-fans of Sonic the Hedgehog.

The kind of 99 cent game I like to see on the app store. The gameplay is frantic, and the birds are cute. It's not super deep, but has enough challenges to keep you coming back. It takes advantage of the iPad with "HD" graphics and some great animations,

Sky Combat does nothing new. It is, however, a great example of the genre. Any fan of arcade shooters won't want to miss it.

Chrono&Cash is a really fun game that you enter casually, but soon play compulsively. And after all the jumping, and running Cash has to do I really think he deserves some rumbling around in the hay.

Rogue Planet is a quality game with stellar production values thanks to the talented French Agharta Studio, solid gameplay and an involving story. The weak AI, linear maps and somewhat clunky controls draw the overall impression down.

An excellent time waster, and can be really relaxing to play for both short and long sessions. Great polished graphics, and one of the best soundtracks in an iPhone game definitely makes it something well worth getting.

Stardust Hero is one of those games that you just want to keep on playing. Sadly it ends, and when it does you haven´t got much left to do. Sure there are bonus levels, and some secrets to find but I never wanted it to end no matter what. Still this comes highly recommended, and you will get hours of relaxed exciting fun.

Fast Five doesn't bring anything refreshingly new to racing games, ripping many elements from similar games before it. But, it is a highly polished and enjoyable racer and can hold its head high on the AppStore amongst other quality titles such as NFS: Hot Pursuit and the Asphalt series.
