The kind of 99 cent game I like to see on the app store. The gameplay is frantic, and the birds are cute. It's not super deep, but has enough challenges to keep you coming back. It takes advantage of the iPad with "HD" graphics and some great animations,

Mr. Dreamer is a fresh single tap runner game that is in need of some direction when it comes to progression. Without proper missions it soon becomes boring and pointless. Before Tiny Wings, and Jetpack Joyride we were content with just going for high scores, but now we want more from a game.

A real surprise to me in a truly positive sense. It merges two genres almost seamlessly, and manages to keep the formula fresh for hours. The slightly sketchy controls at times disturb the gameplay. TAoT:RKT have a too long name that isn't eye-catching, but it makes up for it in sheer playability. I would have guessed that the game was an endless runner starring a kitten. Endless runners are fun and the vibrant Banana Kong is no exception. Still, without repetitive reminders of missions, the game never elevates itself to a more addictive experience. Beastie Bay is a decent Pokemon-like layered on top of familiar Kairosoft mechanics. While I pointed out many criticisms of the game, there is something gratifying about the simple progression and cheery nature of Beastie Bay. It falls short of the bar set by other serious monster catching titles, but the interaction between simulation and hunting is just enough to pull you through the game’s arc.

And on the other, a classic style, 16bit brawler with many of the problems that are as frustrating as they were back then, with the added problems of iOS virtual controls.
