    There's nothing revolutionary enough in Heroes in Time to think it will become an all-time classic RPG, but it's a very good addition to the genre, even without considering the limitations of the iOS platform or its low price tag. Don't be hesitant to put on your rose-colored glasses and try out this particular throwback.

    This new take on a classic RPG game is well worth the download. If you are a fan of quest-heavy adventure games, this will have your right back in the car on a hot summer day, trying to keep your brother from stealing your Gameboy as you fight monsters and save the kingdom.

    Heroes in Time might trip up a little bit with the gameplay, but what's there is decent if nothing else. What's surprisingly pleasant is the way the story (of all things) starts to take hold, clichés and all.

    We're not going to get Zelda on iOS anytime soon, so this is somewhere near being the next best thing. Just make sure to book an appointment at the barber before sitting down to the introduction. By the time it's over, you'll need it.
