Wedding Escape is a great little puzzler with a funny theme and enough variation from standard match-three tropes to make a mark. It could use a little tweaking in terms of how it rewards players, but odds are you'll be playing for hours at a time right after downloading it.

Trulon is another strong effort from a developer that clearly knows what they're doing in this genre.

Like a lot of endless games out there, Kayos doesn't break the mold or check any boxes than you'd typically see checked by the genre. It does, however, offer up an escape for a short while into a beautiful opaque world of sights and sounds.

The game marginalizes its one clever hook, but it's still clever! And I think that long-term, I can see auto-battling being useful for most people. I just can't get around that it exists and sinks a game I otherwise really enjoyed.

With an eerie ambient music and only 14.5 mb space, it's an easy game to get into. Once you do, that gameplay is going to dazzle you.

The story is quite good, the characters are interesting to get to know, and the translation is pretty solid. As a result it's a very readable visual novel.

I think there's high potential for gamebooks in the Tekumel universe, but Choice Of The Petal Throne doesn't make the case for it as well as it needs to.

I didn't expect much from Burn it Down, but I ended up spending a good hour with it.

This is a small roguelike built around quick and fast sessions for you to enjoy when you have a free moment. Take it for that, and you'll have a good time here.

Despite my few issues with the Adventure, BRM was a fantastic piece of work from Blizzard and an improvement on the already-great Curse of Naxxramas

Its noir aesthetic and cryptography-heavy puzzle mechanics do make it a rather niche title, but it's one that will please those who play it even though its brevity and occasionally clunky

The actual gameplay is generally intact, however, and that means Ys Chronicles 1 is a must-have for any mobile RPG fan.

For a free game the IAP is rather fair, and the ability to watch an ad to double a bonus (or subsequently, ignore a negative effect) is fairly inoffensive.

What you get here is a game that straddles that balance between challenge and frustration, has a player-friendly free model to it, and is amusing and charming to boot. Definitely download Does Not Commute, whatever you do.

Mega Drift falls into a lot of the same trappings as other free-to-play arcade games, but it's worth a shot if you're into smoothly animated racers. It's not going to blow you away with the ability to drift like a madman, though it's a nice reminder of a neon-filled subgenre of the past, and '90s kids will get a kick out of it.

Rex Rocket is an excellent game that manages to scratch both my itch for a great new Metroidvania and a Mega Man-style action platformer.

Naught Reawakening is far from a bad game. It has got nice graphics, an engrossing atmosphere, and a brilliant soundtrack. I went in to it without any particular expectations, and found it a bit boring at first. Then I started to like it, and it really grew on me. But the gameplay got very repetitive, very quickly.

Hellrider is an engaging little runner that uses ads in a way that most games should. Although it's not as long-lasting as a lot of other similar titles on the market, it's definitely worth picking up for at least an afternoon to quickly unlock everything and ride into the sunset.

It's a pleasant enough read and the unusual puzzles are a nice change of pace, but it doesn't quite offer the bang for the buck that you would get with many of Tin Man's other efforts.

As a sequel to Halo: Spartan Assault, it would make sense that Strike seeks to improve upon its predecessor and it succeeds in that regard. While the changes to the formula feel more evolutionary than revolutionary, those improvements are on a game that was already great to begin with making Strike an even better dual stick shooter.

It’s obvious that fans of the series should check out Halo: Spartan Assault right away, but I think it’s one of the better dual-stick shooters to launch recently on the App Store even if you're not a Halo fan.

What can I say about Trigonarium other than that if you love twin-stick shooters, or high score games, or just frantic action games, that you should check this out. It's got flaws, but it hits the spot for me.

The limited scope makes Tiltagon an interesting game to check out, but not quite an urgent must-download. I like its concepts, and the way it slows things down a bit. Plus, the tilt controls are great. And the monetization is pretty cool. But I wish there was more here.
