Cars is good, but it's not great, and that's the problem. The one genre that the PSP has been very, very blessed with thus far is the arcade racer. Between "Burnout Legends", "Ridge Racer" and the amazing "WipEout Pure", there's just no room for good here.- TotalPlayStation

While they're certainly not bad games by any means, familiarity breeds contempt, and I'm just starting to get irked by the lack of freshness.- TotalPlayStation

Section 8: Prejudice is a mix of a lot of good ideas and some varied results. It looks pretty good (and in the campaign, epic), but it isn't consistent. In all, it is a good package for sci-fi shooter fans looking to experiment and see a new world.- TotalPlayStation

Really, the game looks and feels much like Guitar Hero III, but done better. How much better? That's going to be about as subjective as the track listing the band, Activision and Neversoft cobbled together.- TotalPlayStation

I won't try to say WET is a perfect game or even a truly great one, but when it's hitting properly, it feels good.- TotalPlayStation

While Rainbow Moon isn't a bad game by any means, it can definitely get stale given the effort it takes to progress. There aren't enough gameplay advances to keep the game fresh, and the story isn't compelling enough to maintain interest.- TotalPlayStation

'Kaos' may have been trying to spread their wings a bit, but the overall story in the campaign may have clipped their wings, more so with an abrupt ending. As interesting and deep as the SP world and MP gameplay can be, it's a tad outclassed by the rest.- TotalPlayStation

Paying a full $40 for something that should realistically been $20 at most is pointless, and why the hell Sony priced the game so high is beyond me.- TotalPlayStation

A good game, a different game, a game that rewards those that stick with it with something plenty entertaining, but you’re going to have to strap on a pair of blinders to get there without cringing a couple times.- TotalPlayStation

It definitely took a while, but once I understood what Badman was trying to do, I was sold. That doesn't mean everyone will get it or even like what the game is doing when they do, but for me it really was something different and unique.- TotalPlayStation

Sure, the improvements to the heat level are fantastic, and it’s great to have a game that has really solid handling and physics, but it would have been nice to see the series break a little more new ground.- TotalPlayStation

Here's a dumb idea: rushing an expansion by regurgitating nearly all of the original game and delivering minimal compelling content. Here's a dumber one: charing $10 more than normal so unsuspecting consumers will pad your fiscal third quarter.- TotalPlayStation

Savage and Pandemic should be applauded for cramming as much of the Battlefront experience into the PSP, but we can always play what-if, and the omission of even online play is a pretty serious shortcoming. It's good, but not must-have good.- TotalPlayStation

The game is technically proficient but unfortunately Sports Champions 2 fails to offer the unique and interesting events that the original did. There are better examples of most of the sports in other packages or more focused games.- TotalPlayStation

There's so much failed potential here that it makes me sick. Sure, Ecko and The Collective may have a stiffy for 1984, but there's really nothing wrong with that. It's the forced stealth and the hideous combat that killed the game, not the atmosphere.- TotalPlayStation

Suffice it to say, 1942: Joint Strike is a fun diversion for those who aren't accustomed to the ins and outs of vertical shoot-em-ups and a great throwback for those who are. What it lacks in techno music, vector graphics, or shtick, it more than makes up for with a solid experience that can be enjoyed singly or cooperatively.- TotalPlayStation

It's not really possible at this point to be wowed by an arcade collection, but at least Capcom Arcade Cabinet puts a layer of shine on some of these. They've also dug a little deeper in the archives than usual. Still a bit pricey for nostalgia.- TotalPlayStation

It also represents one of the first games I've played in a long time that's truly something for both kid and adult, and I'll be giving a copy to my nephew this Christmas in the hopes that it'll help bridge the gap between the business side of his father's day-to-day operations and the passion that my nephew has for games.- TotalPlayStation

The Bureau is a bit of a step back for the XCOM franchise. The game lacks the identity of its Firaxis cousin and feel way too much like an uninspired derivative of other games. A fractured development history clearly left its mark.- TotalPlayStation

This game is definitely recommended if you liked any of the previous online Phantasy Star games, with nostalgia aplenty. Newcomers may be less forgiving, and their enjoyment will be determined by their propensity for enjoying action RPGs in general.- TotalPlayStation

Madness Returns is by no means a terrible game, as in fact quite the opposite is the case. But its enormous potential combined with its stubborn unwillingness to take much, if any creative risks, keep this one from achieving its fullest potential.- TotalPlayStation

Burnout CRASH! sounded like a disaster when we first heard about it, but the final product is a pleasant diversion that captures the feel of the old Crash Mode and should provide plenty of enjoyment to longtime series fans.- TotalPlayStation

When the main reason I keep coming back is a thirty second mini-game, we have a problem. Really though, the game does the absolute minimum to be considered "good." While it's fun there's nothing that keeps you coming back for more. Shame, really.- TotalPlayStation

Random encounters and a turn-based battle system don't make up for what a true, quality RPG offers and CM just can't deliver; a compelling and complex story, deep characters and a real sense that you're making a change in the world you're plopped into.- TotalPlayStation
