Spartan is extraordinary from the perspective of any old warhorse of a strategy player. It has graphical polish, longevity and some well crafted ideas that other developers should take note of!

It's a surprisingly long game, with plenty to do away from the main story; Thief will consume you for months on end.

Warlords Battlecry III is devoid of gimmicks and posturing but offers up good, old fashioned, SOLID, strategy gameplay – which to many is how it should be!

"Dynasty Warriors" and beat-em-up fans will find an exciting experience, however its repetitive nature will soon put off anybody else.

Nice locations, lots to unlock, nice moves, loads of variety, in fact GOOD solid design, although not overly inventive but enjoyable!

Although Rallisport 2 meets all expectations and is more forgiving than a certain Codemasters title and everything is perfect there is still something missing and it is hard to put a finger on that ingredient! Perhaps it's the fact that aside from some excellent Xbox Live! support, Rallisport Challenge 2 doesn't try too hard to establish any new ideas to the franchise.

Although there’s no denying that Western fans will appreciate the experience more then others, the truth is that the level of style, inspired design and gritty atmosphere will likely please those looking for a good, straightforward action romp.

A fitting tribute to the popular trilogy, granting fans everything they could hope for.

It’s the atrocious voice-acting that provides the most enjoyment, which sounds as though everybody was put through English elocution lessons firstly or had a role in 'Just William'.

From the story angle alone Hitman: Contracts is a worthy addition to the series, and will particularly entertain fans of the franchise who’ve played both the predecessors. That said it’s certainly time for some innovation.

We were massively disappointed by the comical AI, which definitely has a substantial impact on the game – Serious Sam has shown that run-and-gun games can be fun, but this seriously detracts from the overall experience.

The variety with the games objects, as well in locations, aint half bad and that alongside some really plush graphics gives this almost instant appeal, which proves a point that some TV programs do transform into half decent games.

Offers, in terms of management and tactical depth, an intuitive feel without guiding the player but some could easily say it is devoid of being really inspiring, although we would give this our thumbs up for being straight to the point, unpretentious and offering what it promises - a strat game with substance!

Thankfully the gameplay shines a light even if the rather conventional plotline and overall game suffer from a feeling of ‘been there – seen that’.

Quite frankly FarCry is the finest PC title we’ve played in many years...Every aspect of the game works brilliantly and combines to create one of the most immersive and captivating games we’ve ever played.

It's the multiplayer which has completely engulfed us; we've yet to play an Xbox Live! game which felt so refreshing, as we said towards the beginning, there's no reason why this shouldn't do for Xbox Live! what "Counter-Strike" did to PC gaming.

We love our Colin McRae at TVG and truly believe that it offers one of the finest racing experiences ever created. That said, it’s a hard purchase to recommend unless you’re a rallying fanatic or didn’t pick up last year’s version.
