The switch to first-person view for the longer ranged weapons works better than we'd expected, and the battles run pretty smoothly – quite unlike the standard fare. The storyline is strong.

To new gamers there is appeal but if you already own a game like this then we are sure it can’t offer you anything new or remotely appealing!

The challenges offered in terms of beating your opponents were well tapered; the more you play the better you get and winning some dosh and opening the sub games, which were equally enjoyable, really topped the experience.

Once again we harp back to the fact that the controls were not as responsive as we hoped and although this probably is tuned into the requirements of Indy racing although it made racing slightly harder or should we say more of a tussle!

Quite simply the conversion to the PS2 is magnificent, it seems as though there have been very few sacrifices from the Xbox version, particularly the fluid water effects and dynamic lighting have survived the translation perfectly.
