The eeriness of the environments, even your room feels dingy, is captured brilliantly, and the tunnel effect is awesome.- Total Video Games

Every aspect comes together to create a gaming experience that is one of the most polished and perfected we've ever seen, regardless of genre – you simply need Burnout 3: Takedown now.- Total Video Games

The game has a strong tendency to drop you in some town or dungeon with no clear idea of where you should go. Coupled with the fact that enemies respawn whenever you exit a room, and navigating becomes quite the chore.- Total Video Games

Pikmin 2 not only improves upon the foundation laid by its predecessor, but wraps strategy, action and puzzle elements into one highly addictive and enjoyable experience that it seems only Nintendo are capable of.- Total Video Games

Truly games such as this are a rarity these days; it’s a perfect blend of substance and style both in terms of visuals and gameplay, whilst the true testimony of the game is the fact that it’s still as refreshing, addictive and challenging as it was when it was released close to a year ago on the GameCube.- Total Video Games

A mightily impressive action/adventure title, that features excellent presentation to draw the player in and strong game fundamentals to ensure frustration remains at a low.- Total Video Games

It's challenging and immersing (especially if you use the voice communicator) and at the exceptional price tag of £19.99, you really can't go wrong.- Total Video Games

Doom3 really takes the original game and expands upon it exponentially. Even though visually the game is obviously much improved, it still feels like Doom.- Total Video Games

The level design/layout is perhaps the real expertise of the Confounding Factor and the rewards picked up throughout, the way the puzzles were formulated, was sheer class. Just when you were about to give up, hey presto, you've found an object or power up. This we are sure is no coincidence!- Total Video Games

The restrictive control system and progression feels pathetic compared to the state of fluid titles such as "Prince of Persia" or "Galleon", whilst the overall experience is confounded by an awkward fixed camera system that makes it virtually impossible to see where you’re going.- Total Video Games

The switch to first-person view for the longer ranged weapons works better than we'd expected, and the battles run pretty smoothly – quite unlike the standard fare. The storyline is strong.- Total Video Games

Without doubt extremely enjoyable for fans, simply because controlling Spider-Man has never been executed so well. There are problems with the main game, there’s problems with its presentation; however we still find ourselves loading up the game just to swing around New York again.- Total Video Games

The challenges offered in terms of beating your opponents were well tapered; the more you play the better you get and winning some dosh and opening the sub games, which were equally enjoyable, really topped the experience.- Total Video Games

Once again we harp back to the fact that the controls were not as responsive as we hoped and although this probably is tuned into the requirements of Indy racing although it made racing slightly harder or should we say more of a tussle!- Total Video Games

Quite simply the conversion to the PS2 is magnificent, it seems as though there have been very few sacrifices from the Xbox version, particularly the fluid water effects and dynamic lighting have survived the translation perfectly.- Total Video Games

It packs a good amount of depth through the wide selection of shots available and the Pro Tour mode is extremely enjoyable and well thought out, however it lacks that instant appeal and addictive qualities of SEGA’s landmark series.- Total Video Games

Merges both action and stealth perfectly to create a completely enthralling experience. Whereas it's a definite split between the two in most other titles, Butcher Bay fuses the two seamlessly, resulting in an entirely satisfying experience that plays wonderfully.- Total Video Games
