It's been awhile since their was a 2D platformer to shout about, and in some way DK: Jungle Beat represents something of a renaissance for the genre, fusing next-gen qualities such as delicious visuals to hopefully ensure it's not just the older gamers clamouring after them bongos.- Total Video Games

Quite honestly the first realistic shooter I’ve found myself completely enthralled within. It’s cross between Medal of Honor/Call of Duty and Full Spectrum Warrior gameplay creates an experience that is fresh and compelling, while the multiplayer mode should make this one of the most popular titles around.- Total Video Games

The game introduces some really original ideas, but the lack of team AI, and broken gameplay let it down.- Total Video Games

A stylish experience which fans of the movie will appreciate, but there’s just not enough substance let alone difference for the vast majority of action fans to warrant yet another first-person purchase.- Total Video Games

A dark mix of revealing narrative and gun-toting, sword-swinging, demon slaying action that works well with a result that's certainly satisfying.- Total Video Games

Utterly brilliant and everything that we could have hoped for. Team 17 have performed an excellent job of retaining the look and feel of 'Worms' whilst changing the scope of the game enough to make it feel fresh and new for everybody.- Total Video Games

The most authentic videogame adaptation that we've ever seen... [but t]he Career mode whilst engaging doesn’t sustain your interest for long enough, and like many boxing titles will have all but the most hardened fan switching off long before the belt is won.- Total Video Games

GT4 resets the benchmark for driving simulations, it’s not perfect but by definition we never expect a GT game to be.- Total Video Games

But it’s this focus on action, strong weapons and robust gameplay that proves to be Project: Snowblind’s strongest aspect; it’s just a good, solid, enjoyable romp with a strong multiplayer component.- Total Video Games

It’s far from perfect, with issues such as the crazy swings in player AI and overall lack of finesse and skill required; but for the most part we’re more than willing to forgo them in the name of fun – in multiplayer bouts particularly, FIFA Street throws up some highly frenetic yet engaging, competitive fun.- Total Video Games

Although the storyline and the graphics are still up there, the fact that the control system seems to be insistent on gamers using a keyboard/mouse combo does actually ruin the responsive feel that a console/PC controller gives you.- Total Video Games

WarioWare Touched might not have quite the same ‘awe’ factor that it had when it first debuted on the GBA but it’s fun to play and will while away the hours away from home.- Total Video Games

On the one hand the Arwing missons are pure StarFox with plenty of frantic button bashing. Sadly, the ground based sections are dull and really makes the game a disappointing one to play.- Total Video Games

Playing as the Centurion turned gladiator Agrippa is quite fun at first but very quickly becomes repetitive, whilst the sections of the game where you play as Octavianus are just plain dull to begin with.- Total Video Games

Linear to the point of offering little challenge beyond heading in a straight route through the entire game at an extremely sluggish pace, occasionally demanding you to pick up objects to solve frustratingly cryptic puzzles.- Total Video Games

Sadly the game still doesn’t address the fundamental issues over control, AI and the basic nature of the gameplay; although we still found ourselves suckers to the plot and presentation – it’s the main reason for playing through the game sadly.- Total Video Games

Lone Wolf does build upon the original game's foundations and does start off as a decent Mech game, sadly it quickly degenerates into a standard blaster and becomes forgettable.- Total Video Games
