Those expecting even Halo 3.5 may feel a little underwhelmed, with 3-II the most relevant numerical comparison, but for anybody who has so much as enjoyed the series in the past, this is an essential purchase.- Thunderbolt

For curious fans of the new Persona games, and people who enjoyed the mangled port for what it was, this PSP edition is a must-play.- Thunderbolt

For now though this is a nice, but flawed, distraction whose general approach and gunplay should at least make B-movie fans proud. We just need a bit more substance to go along with all of that style.- Thunderbolt

Surprisingly, it has a lot of life to it. For a game built largely around the “blow sh.t up” gimmick, you’d expect it to lose steam after a few hours, but Guerrilla stays entertaining through most of the game, only tapering slightly toward the conclusion.- Thunderbolt

Some of the latter missions are quite fun and Ace Kill skill adds some interesting variety but it seems unlikely the average player will get that far as they’re inundated with a never ending sea of German fighters, useless comrades and clichéd World War II stories of heroics.- Thunderbolt

Regardless of its flaws, Scribblenauts is a fine title. It may be over-hyped, but it’s still worth playing.- Thunderbolt

And while it might not have the longevity of some of their other titles, it's certainly a step above PopCap's recently released Bookworm Adventures 2.- Thunderbolt

The adventure is lengthy, the characters are entertaining, and this is truly a game that you’ll want to keep in your pocket for any free minute you find yourself with. DS owners should not miss out on what could certainly be the best handheld RPG of 2009.- Thunderbolt

It might seem obvious but if you’re not a fan of The Beatles then The Beatles: Rock Band probably isn’t for you. I’m certain it can garner in some new fans, but if you’re buying it because you’re a Rock Band fan then you’ll be left disappointed.- Thunderbolt

Mini Ninjas is an extremely charming action/adventure game that should appeal to gamers of all ages and styles. The simple infectious antics of these ninja will appeal to the younger player, while the wide variety of ways to approach combat and stealth should entertain the more seasoned player.- Thunderbolt

IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey is a step in the right direction for flight-sims on consoles. It’s accessible for both newcomers and hardened veterans alike, and its variety of locales and mission types should hold your attention for a good few hours at least.- Thunderbolt

There's enough good in this episode to make The Siege of Spinner Cay a little bit more than just a mandatory stepping stone to the next chapter. But one can only hope, however, that this isn't the beginning of a mid-season slump.- Thunderbolt

It’s obvious based on the menus within the game that Smash Cars will be further fleshed out with new DLC areas to race in, but at this point it feels paper thin.- Thunderbolt

Let’s be clear – Fossil Fighters isn’t for the self-proclaimed “hardcore gamer.” No, it’s for kids – no doubt about it. That being said, it’s a quality title that, though somewhat shallow and straightforward, is a great fit for budding gamers.- Thunderbolt

It may have been fun back in the 1990s but now there’s just not enough depth to gain any sort of prolonged enjoyment out of it. Short bursts in multiplayer can be mildly enjoyable, but for 800 points it’s simply not worth it. It’s crazy to think they were originally going to charge 1200 for what is a bare-bone remake.- Thunderbolt

SingStar: Queen is clearly just a track pack, offering nothing new to the series. If you’re a fan of the group and don’t already own any of the songs for the game then it may be a worthy purchase. For anybody just wanting their most well known songs, then it’s probably best to save your money and buy the songs from the SingStore.- Thunderbolt

Wipeout HD alone is a superb game, but when paired with its Fury expansion it becomes a near perfect package. For a cheap bargain this is ridiculously essential which represents possibly the greatest value to be found on the PS3.- Thunderbolt
