The Rise of the Necromancer is a good offering, dedicated to real, hardcore fans of Diablo III: if after five years you still love slaying demons in Tristram, for a fair price you'll find hours of fun and some new stuff.- The Games Machine

Boring, verbose and too easy to complete: Valkyria Revolution, despite its name, is a real "involution" of the series. Easily forgotten.- The Games Machine

Vicarious Visions did a great job in preserving the original vibe of the Bandicoot saga while giving a brand new contemporary look to the games. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a great journey through the PSX age without the aging effect, and it's a solid comeback for Crash. The three platform games are still fun today, and Warped is as amazing as it was almost 20 years ago. Maybe the design of the first, iconic, chapter is a little bit old-fashioned, but overall the collection has a great value both for nostalgic players and newcomers.- The Games Machine

RPG Maker FES has a lot of potential, but it's bound to be (at least partially) wasted. There's no tutorial, and it's impossible to edit the predefined (and limited) assets; the UI is simple and accessible to everyone, but the PC version is much more complete.- The Games Machine

Ever Oasis marks the return of the ActRaiser and Dark Cloud formula, with the management of a thriving community and monsters to slash by the dozen. The overall gameplay is pretty simple and not too challenging, but it still has its charm, and it's portable.- The Games Machine

Housemarque did it again. With its neon lights, endless action, frantic pace, and amazing soundtrack, Nex Machina is one of the most beautiful surprises of this 2017, and one of the best twin-stick shooters ever made.- The Games Machine

Get Even is an excellent psychological thriller, crippled by some uninspired and dull action sequences, and a weak enemy AI. Nonetheless, the plot and the way the story is told make for an excellent experience, one that is definitely worth enjoying.- The Games Machine

Despite God Wars Future Past looks technically out of time and its plot isn't particularly interesting, is a very good turn-based tactical game that fits perfectly on PS Vita rather than on PS4.- The Games Machine

If you are searching for an online-oriented game, Arms could be a title to buy. Anyhow, the game is fun even if you play by yourself, despite some balancing issues.- The Games Machine

Beat Cop is an intriguing and entertaining re-imagining of the police TV shows of the ’80s, with a clever design, some action and lot of choices for the player. There are always too many things to do, and too little time to do them, and as any real cop knows, boredom is part of the process.- The Games Machine

Compared to the first release of The Elder Scrolls Online, Morrowind is far more balanced, the overall quality has improved and it has the right amount of nostalgia. Probably not the best MMO around, but if you ever wanted to give it a try, now is the right moment.- The Games Machine

Steel Division: Normandy 44 is an excellent old-school RTS, probably one of the best historical videogames of the past few years: it's complex, engaging, with a deep gameplay, truthful to the events of the WWII, and an excellent multiplayer component.- The Games Machine

Star Trek: Bridge Crew has solid gameplay and offers plenty of variety, thanks to the availability of two ships, two game modes and four very different roles. Trekkies will love it from start to finish, but there's no denying that it could have been better, especially from a graphical standpoint.- The Games Machine

DiRT 4 relies heavily on its own procedural editor, and it shows in the long run, when you start to recognize and react to the different building blocks. Nonetheless, it's a pretty fine racing game, one that is extremely fun and addictive.- The Games Machine

WipEout is a religion, the air brakes are its ministers, and speed is its only temple. Omega Collection is the celebration of its creed, the three chapters of the saga gathered in one, thrilling experience. If you love speed, you can't possibly want to miss it.- The Games Machine

What a pity! Impact Winter could have been a great survival game, but it's affected by so many issues that it's impossible to reward Mojo Bones' work with more than a generous sixty-five. Anyhow, you should keep an eye on it: the future patches could fix at least the major bugs and transform a caterpillar in a wonderful butterfly.- The Games Machine

Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada is not the best musou ever created, but if you're looking for something simple and fun, this new offering from Koei Tecmo might be a good choice. Unless, of course, you have a peculiar dislike for the genre.- The Games Machine

Unit 4 is a bit of a roller coaster: some levels can be too punishing for the player, while some boss battles are truly exhilarating. The first title from Gamera Interactive feels like a missed opportunity, and the general art direction doesn't help. A decent platform, like so many others.- The Games Machine

Mass Transit is an excellent expansion, with just one problem: the content isn't that much. Everything else improves over the original, adding depth to an already rich gameplay. And the support for Steam Workshop is just the cherry on top.- The Games Machine

Tekken 7 is definitely a big guy. A new engine, new characters, new combat techniques and a lot of new game modes and options. It doesn't have the amount of content found in Injustice 2, but the way the familiar combat system makes you feel so powerful is still unmatched.- The Games Machine

Endless Space 2 is probably the best videogame ever created by Amplitude Studios, a 4X strategic game with an incredible personality, a deep (and unusual, for this type of productions) storyline, and an almost flawless gameplay. A real gem.- The Games Machine

We're not exactly crazy about the new Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers: although the fights are well balanced, the "new" characters don't have much personality, and the whole package seems a little sloppy, with dull secondary game modes and some recycling of assets.- The Games Machine

Everspace is an unusual and well-designed roguelite, respectful of the genre and, at the same time, trying to create a fascinating space odyssey. Definitely worth a look, but only if you're a fan of the genre.- The Games Machine

The Trackmania formula is still a winner, but this is definitely not the best offering around: at the same price, you could play the much better Trackmania 2 Canyon or, if you're looking for the whole experience, the complete collection (at double the price) will give you everything.- The Games Machine

Birthdays the Beginning could be the love-child of Minecraft and Spore, evolution merged with sandbox in its purest form. It's an interesting idea, at least in theory, but you're gonna need plenty of patience and dedication to fully appreciate it.- The Games Machine

Farpoint makes you truly feel like a bad-ass space marine, like no other game before. It's a pretty short experience, the gameplay is pretty basic and the bundle with the Aim Controller is not cheap. But it's one hell of a ride.- The Games Machine

It's pretty clear that we won't see a game truly worthy of the Tarantino's masterpiece. Unfortunately, the biggest crime committed by Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days are not the heists, but being dull and lackadaisical.- The Games Machine

Portal Knights is the perfect opportunity if you're willing to get close to the universe of Minecraft & C., or if you're looking for something a little bit more complex than mere resource gathering and building. The RPG component is pretty thin, but deep enough to offer different approaches to the game. Thumbs up.- The Games Machine
