Defying Honor is a DLC that keeps the player on edge, with the steep difficulty we already encountered in the original Nioh. Compared to the first DLC, the amount of new content is basically the same, but the level design is much more intriguing. Unfortunately, the PvP still feels sloppy and unbalanced and sloppy.

Overcooked: Special Edition is a funny game, especially if played with some friends. Less sophisticated than SnipperClips, it offers a good variety of silly yet challenging situations, with a simple control system that makes the most of the joy-cons, with an excellent use of the rumble. Do not expect some exclusive content for this version, though.

Secret World Legends simplifies and makes more accessible one of the most intriguing and captivating online worlds ever created. Unfortunately, graphics feel pretty old (which they are), and Funcom never managed to find a good balance between a story-driven experience and the MMO gameplay dynamics. Anyway, a good online action RPG that can be enjoyed with some friends.

Accel World VS Sword Art Online has a decent and enjoyable combat system, but everything else is definitely sub-par: the graphics seems to be coming from the previous PlayStation, and the world is dull and pretty anonymous. Probably slightly more interesting if you're a fan of the series.

The gameplay of this action RPG is very basic, almost oversimplified (it's available for iOS devices as well), but at the end of the day it could be a pretty fun and entertaining experience. The Italian localization is excellent, and it's full of kittens.

Sine Mora EX is a revamped version of a shoot'em up originally published five years ago. The game sports an astounding art direction, a little less challenging difficulty, and a great playability, with a plethora of options that will suit every gamestyle, including the long-awaited local multiplayer.

Much like Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Tacoma captures the player's attention from the beginning to the end, thanks to an intense story, a strong personality and a gameplay tightly connected to the sci-fi setting. It's a pretty short experience, but definitely worth your time, at least if you love a good sci-fi story.

That's you, the first title in the PlayLink series, has gameplay that works flawlessly, great production values, and astounding attention to detail. If you have a party of close friends with a healthy dose of self-irony, it can be an excellent filler for your nights together.

While we wait for a (due) patch for the tate mode, we can definitely say that the offering of Namco Museum is satisfying. The real problem of this collection is not the quality, but the variety. And the absolute absence of extras and/or unlockables, something we really loved in similar products like the SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection.

Despite some difficulty spikes and being a little bit repetitive, Sundered is a big step forward for Thunder Lotus Games. A game that will please the fans of the Metroidvania genre, as well as everyone looking for a challenging and robust title.

Immortal Planet is a really good souls-like action RPG. Its isometric approach and its minimal (but awesome) graphic style allow the game to run even on older PCs. It's a pity that the adventure ends after eight hours only, but the necessity for a second run in the new Nightmare difficulty level to unlock all the stuffs is enough to justify the purchase.

Aven Colony could have been a great space sim manager: there are some good and original ideas, but the game is really easy, without a real challenge, and a lot of things simply don't work, gameplay-wise.

Downward is a good platform with parkour elements, featuring an imaginative art direction and some open-world ambitions. Albeit a bit rough on the edges, the gameplay is challenging, robust, and with some nice quirks that will surprise the player.

Miitopia has nice graphics and a pretty decent soundtrack (sometimes disturbed by the annoying gibberish of the Miis). All in all, it's a fun experience, surely not a challenging one. A good game for a younger audience.

The '80s aesthetics of GRIDD: Retroenhanced isn't probably the most original, but Antab Studio managed to create an excellent arcade shooter working from those stereotypes up, adding a deep gameplay and a strong personality. As Ronald Reagan used to say, "easy to learn, difficult to master"!

Our expectations from guys like People Can Fly and Epic are usually a little higher, however Fortnite is a good game, a good mixture of the shooting genre and the tower defense genre, with a focus on building stuff. Not too rich, content-wise, and maybe the price is a little bit too high.

Hey! Pikmin is a decent game, a pleasant mix between platform and puzzle games. It offers a pretty different experience than the main saga, and it's light years behind the astounding Wii U version. Probably a disappointment for hardcore fans of the series, but entertaining nonetheless.

Death Squared brings the trial & error concept in the world of puzzle games. Nothing new, really, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless. If you’re looking for a game that will rack your brain, this is something worth your while. Be sure to have a friend to play with and, most of all, a lot of patience.

Cursed Castilla is as good as it was five years ago. You can play the original game - for free - on the Locomalito site, and this Nintendo 3DS version suffers from some problems, like the plain ugly coin-op mode or the really tiny graphics. Should you decide to buy the portable version, though, know that it's best played on a 3DS XL.

Fasten your seat belts, because you're about to go for an authentic Jeff-Minter-trance-lysergic-VR ride. Polybius offers pretty simple yet robust gameplay basics, and a good punishment-reward balance that requires a little bit of strategy. Protip: take a breath, once in a while, or you may send your brain in overdrive.

A true sequel or a glorified "more of the same". Oddly, both. There's no real revolution in Splatoon 2, just some small improvements here and there. A game that's so rich, deep and full of content, and it's only bound to grow in the upcoming months. Blessed by a solid net code, a stylish art direction, and great personality, Splatoon is sheer fun.

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is a good title, albeit some shortcomings. Unfortunately, its bigger flaw is that it falls between two very different genres, resulting in something that's neither fish or fowl. Probably Prideful Sloth could have made bolder choices for its debut title, which at the end of the day remains a decent game.

Pro Cycling Manager 2017 is a classic "more of the same" product. Besides some small new features, the game is very similar to the last edition, so the decision to buy it or to wait for the next episode of the series is up to you.

Micro Machines World Series could have been a great game, but it simply isn’t. Codemasters worked for the bare minimum, and it’s a shame. The formula still works and entertains, but the game has a saddening lack of content, an absurd online system, and it won’t be saved by some new, interesting game modes.

Final Fantasy XII was definitely too ambitious and way ahead of its time. In 2017, that makes it an incredibly modern videogame. If you already played it back then, know that there are some nice changes to the gameplay that will make FFXII worth your time.
