Conceptually it should be applauded for, on paper at least, offering something that little bit different. In delivery it’s far too often flat with a side of boredom and backfire.- The Digital Fix

Disappointing in the most devastating of ways; starting fantastically with gorgeous, well-written, superbly voiced cutscenes, all set in a really interesting time for modern America, sadly though by the time you’ve sunk tens of hours into it the only thing raising a smile is the soundtrack. At best Mafia III is very much a big missed opportunity.- The Digital Fix

Gears of War may have its detractors, but whilst it opted for over-the-top machismo and a sci-fi setting, The Devil’s Cartel offers an approximation of banter between its two leads and a plot that is squandered after a promising start. Worse still, ludicrous plot twists are thrown into the mix late on which will both confuse and annoy Army of Two veterans.- The Digital Fix

Remember Me is ambitious, often gorgeous and for the most part intriguing but is a game badly let down by design decisions and lacklustre gameplay.- The Digital Fix

If you want a minimalist, reaction-based action game with style and a kick-ass soundtrack, go for it. If like me you equate playing a game to reading a good book, then it's definitely not for you.- The Digital Fix

Bookbound Brigade feels less like a literary Avengers and more like a literary Suicide Squad. It simply has not done enough to justify itself. Strictly for diehard Metroidvania fans.- The Digital Fix

Italic Pig have bravely experimented with the traditional 2D platformer at an atomic level and to their credit came up with a bold idea, brimming with ideas and colour that works in theory. But while the research is solid, in practice the chemical compounds that make up the game don’t quite gel together.- The Digital Fix

It’s hard to recommend Blood Knights when there are similar games that offer a slicker production and far greater variety.- The Digital Fix

Although it feels like more than a mere movie tie-in, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark still isn’t a good enough game to stand on its own.- The Digital Fix

Rory McIlroy PGA suffers from the same issues that we’ve seen with many other EA titles over the years, particularly when new hardware is introduced.- The Digital Fix

From this newcomer’s perspective, Sacred 3 is a cheesy, flawed B-movie of an arcade brawler that you might get a few evenings’ entertainment out of before consigning it to the very depths of your games pile, never to infirm. I mean, return.- The Digital Fix

Friday the 13th The Game makes an attempt at a killing but merely manages to fall on its own machete due to its clunky controls and limited gameplay options.- The Digital Fix

Not good but not awful, The Technomancer serves more as a showcase for the future potential of Spiders than a game worth playing on its own merit.- The Digital Fix

Archangel takes several innovative steps towards making the dungeon-crawler viable for phones and tablets, including cloud saving for play on multiple devices, but ultimately it’s just a pale, pale shadow of what the likes of Diablo 3, Torchlight 2 and even the free-to-play Path Of Exile are capable of doing on the PC.- The Digital Fix

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is, unfortuantely, One Punch Man: A Game Nobody Will Play. It doesn't treat the source material with the respect it deserves and, ultimately, feels flat all things considered.- The Digital Fix

Unfortunately Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command is not one of the better Games Workshop adaptations. It is a game that relies far more on luck than judgement or skill, and so is repetitive at best, and frustrating at worst. I like that they’re trying something different in translating the game from tabletop to screen, and the cinematics are a nice system, but it comes at the expense of the gameplay experience.- The Digital Fix

Monopoly Family Fun Pack has been poorly marketed, poorly targeted and poorly executed, to the point where we’re not entirely sure why this package exists. You can find fun on the classic board in Monopoly Plus, but at that point it just seems better to be playing on the physical game board.- The Digital Fix
