After a couple of mis-steps, between Revelations and RE6, the franchise is firmly back on track.- The Digital Fix

Ultimately, it will always be remembered as “the sequel to Tales of Xillia”, rather than as an event in its own right.- The Digital Fix

The White March Part I adds another twenty hours or so of content, and has the same polish present in Pillars. The biggest criticism is its awkward insertion into the main game, feeling more like an unnecessary addition than an essential piece of Eora’s canon.- The Digital Fix

Storm Boy is a short and, ultimately, lovely experience. It is the perfect game to chill out with on a Sunday afternoon or to introduce younger players to the world of gaming whilst providing a strong eco-friendly message.- The Digital Fix

A divisive entry in a lauded series, which manages to succeed despite encumbering its open-world design and interesting upbeat narrative with lacklustre combat and poor UI.- The Digital Fix

Safe to say though that as commendable an effort as People Can Fly have made here it is getting a bit stale. We are at the stage now where we are seeing tweaks and iterations as opposed to must have fundamental changes and it will be interesting to see where the franchise goes from here.- The Digital Fix

As Far As The Eye is a fun little turn-based, strategy game set in a vibrant world full of adorable creatures. Whilst there's a lot to learn and manage, this quickly becomes a rewarding and satisfying experience.- The Digital Fix

Optimization issues aside, Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is a solid entry in to the SAO game series. Inviting visuals, recognizable characters, and action packed battles await those willing to put in the time to get past chapter one.- The Digital Fix

I feel that the single player is a bit sparse and even though I could not test it, I think the multiplayer will be a hoot and where this game really shines. The social interaction between players and friends will be fun while playing matches, it's a shame the single player does not have the same impact but I do think this game was designed to be played between friends. It's a beautiful game and the VR side of things works well. It's a solid VR outing that's unlike anything other on the market at the moment.- The Digital Fix

Overall, Inazuma Eleven GO is stronger as a JRPG than as a sports game, but should still provide children with the football excitement they are looking for during the World Cup.- The Digital Fix

Whilst A New Frontier doesn’t do anything differently with the gameplay, the story has always been The Walking Dead’s strength and, in this area at least, season three may provide the reversal of fortune that Telltale need.- The Digital Fix

Splatoon is an intelligent shooter, but it tries too hard to be hip with its “fresh” lingo and focus on superficial style.- The Digital Fix

Like a lot of various other media and art, I can appreciate the technical skill involved in its creation, but find it a tad too vexing for my own personal enjoyment. Maybe this dog’s too old to be taught new tricks; players more able of mind may fare better. But don’t count on it.- The Digital Fix

I initially loved the survival and building aspects of The Walking Dead Onslaught. Unfortunately it wore thin quite quick. I would have liked more depth and more variety but what we have is fun, immersive, zombie bashing good time. I just recommend playing in short bursts otherwise it will get repetitive very quickly.- The Digital Fix

For all its flaws, Farming Simulator 2015 is the latest, best entry in an exceedingly niche genre, a reasonable improvement on the last entry, and perhaps a change of scenery if you’re sick of the sight of alien spaceships and chest-high walls.- The Digital Fix

Willy Jetman: Astromonkey's Revenge is a charming indie shooter with plenty of adventures to be had, but its repetitive music, inconsistent controls and surprising difficulty curve hold it back slightly. Worth a look if you enjoy a challenge, and a quirky story.- The Digital Fix

It’s yet another example of the kind of game that could only come from a small studio willing to take risks, and it’s to the game’s credit that it leaves you wanting for more rather than overstaying its welcome – but the missed potential of what could have been will dominate your thoughts once you’re done.- The Digital Fix

As far as role-playing games go, Destiny of Spirits may come across as sticking to the essentials. However, the GPS and social features are a nice touch, if not one we would have preferred to see in a DS Pokémon title, rather than a free-to-play Vita title.- The Digital Fix

Soul Sacrifice can stand on its own feet proudly, but it’s the potential of the birth of a franchise that should get gamers everywhere smiling into their Mountain Dew. With a few tweaks and additions Keiji Inafune’s baby could well come back to rule the roost – until then, dive in and experience it but try not to lose your soul to the game...- The Digital Fix

Train Simulator 2014 is the best at what it does, and those familiar with the series will find enough here to go back for more. Newcomers, though, will find the price of admission unusually high both in the sheer volume of expensive DLC that the game will try to sell to you at every possible moment, and the investment of time the user needs before they can really begin to appreciate what this software has to offer.- The Digital Fix

A Summer with the Shibu Inu will intrigue you with its various endings and cute character models, but its visual offerings and replay value are extremely limited overall. If you enjoy choose-your-own-adventure games, love dogs, and have a few hours to kill, this is worth playing, but prepare to be bewildered by the stranger, more ambiguous endings.- The Digital Fix

With this introduction to the world of hacking Ubisoft have created a behemoth of an IP, one that promises much. Like its predecessor though, we’ll have to wait for the tighter and more focussed second iteration, removing what didn’t work and improving that which did, to realise that full potential.- The Digital Fix

The gameplay is as fun and addictive as ever, but while added features breathe plenty of new life into the old formula, they aren’t enough to keep The Sims 4 from feeling like half a game. It isn’t a complete misstep, but it’s certainly a long way from the heights intended for it.- The Digital Fix
