On the whole I enjoyed Twin Breaker: A Sacred Symbols Adventure. I am not normally a fan of this type of game but the old-school presentation and interesting story made it enjoyable. I am happy I got to play it. Plus you get 2 versions for the price of one, what's not to like.

Forza Motorsport 5 is quite simply car porn running at 1080p, 60fps. Visually stunning and without a rival on the next gen stage.

Though it lacks some finer polish, the low price tag and high replay value make amends if you can push through the initial barrier to entry. I worry, though, that there may not be enough content for Space Ops VR to maintain a healthy playerbase. The developers have already shown that player feedback is important to them, however, and with the correct treatment, a diamond could be cut from this rough gem.

Fans of JRPGs will find enough to satiate their Tales craving and others would be wise to take a look into the world as well.

Age may have formed a few cracks in its legendary skin, and perhaps the over reliance on randomness from the Dungeons and Dragons’ ruleset seems rather archaic, but within this slumbering ancient beast lies a mighty heart waiting to be awakened once more.

Superfrog HD might be a little too niche, not quite providing the nostalgic hit that other Amiga titles could have done, but as his old rivals still face stiff competition from the emerging smartphone market, making the jump to PlayStation might have been the most heroic move this little amphibian has ever made.

If a digital ‘choose your own adventure’ book with epic audio and gorgeous art is your cup of tea, then this historical/supernatural drama will be right up your alley.

Le Tour De France Season 2017 is the Team Sky of cycling games. It is the best of the genre, it is familiar and it’s liked by only the true hardcore.

Die-hard fans of Control are certain to enjoy their time with The Foundation but anyone who found the core gameplay experience frustrating, either mechanically or technically, will find very little incentive to return.

Whilst not quite in the same league as Zen’s endeavour into the Star Wars universe, mainly due to the table feeling far smaller than its predecessor, The Walking Dead is a fun blast for a few hours and a great introduction to the table range for newbies.

The thing is, if you’re a real Broken Sword fan then you’ll already own this from your Kickstarter pledge, and you’re just here to check in to see what the port quality is like. If you’ve enjoyed Broken Sword in the past (and especially the earlier ones) then you’ll not be disappointed here, as from the intrigue through to Rolf Saxon this is a Broken Sword game through and through.

Based on the story so far, Game of Thrones is very much worthy of your time but has plenty to prove in the space of a handful more episodes to come.

All told, Under Night is a reliable, enjoyable effort, especially for newcomers.

Gorgeous game with a short, yet enticing story that left me wanting more. Just be sure to bring your patience with you before trying to tackle the puzzle-based gameplay.

As a fan of the anime and manga series, I found enjoyable immersion in Fairy Tail for the PS4 and recommend any fans to give it a chance. Other than this fan service, though, there is little to compel a player to continue in this game past the first few hours due to the repetitiveness of battles, missions, and story tropes.

While it may get a bit repetitive over time, Ninja Legends is a lot of fun. It’s fast, it’s fluid and when you pull off amazing feats of ninja-like badassness, it feels superb. Just play it in short bursts and you will not go wrong.

Overall, there’s plenty of value to be had in Atelier Escha and Logy Plus: Alchemists of the Dark Sky. It just takes quite a bit of time to maintain your patience with the heavy dialogue, bland visuals and a generally boring story.

For what it’s worth Wrong Number is the typical cliched mixed bag, with the best bits of the original dressed up in the excesses of what the developers thought they needed to add to make this a bigger, badder sequel.

A visually beautiful and hilariously well-written experience let down by an overbearing and clunky fundamental gameplay system. Unfortunately, Paper Mario: The Origami King falls flat in its attempts to bring one too many things into the fold.

If Resident Evil 7 is VR’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre, consider Home Sweet Home as the platform’s analogue to The Grudge. If you’re looking for a world to explore while being scared silly, you can do a lot worse than Home Sweet Home - a very promising debut from Yggdrazil Group.

A solid return to its roots, Call of Duty WWII reminds us what made us all fall in love Call of Duty in the first place. It ticks all the boxes which is both a blessing and a curse. Good fun and worth your time but offers nothing exceptional.

Marlow Briggs isn’t perfect but for all its faults it is important to always keep things in perspective.
