The negatives are too much to ignore: idiotic enemy A.I., lack of variety with missions, short lived gameplay, and iffy graphics, to name a few.

The gameplay is a little better than the original game. A lot of this has to do with the experience being more streamlined but if driving sections and first person platforming frustrate you, The Doctor Who Cloned Me won't change your mind.

This is one of those occasions where having your movement "on rails" actually helps extend the gameplay.

Sadly it seems as if this revamp of the old Defender of the Crown, is simply an update in graphics and sound with very little thought put forth to update the gameplay. All of the extra modes are repetitive and lack any sort of attention grabbing features.

The game should be fun for wrestling aficionados, but non-wrestling fans and gamers looking for current superstars won't have much interest in this title.

Spawn: Armageddon isn’t going to turn the action/adventure category upside down, but it will get the attention of its based-on-a-comic-book competition.

Awkward gameplay mechanics, sub par graphics, and bland audio keep this game from reaching any sort of potential.

A poor use of a license, and a party game that is sure to end any get together rather quickly. This is an experience that would be hard for younger gamers to get into, and the older gaming set should steer away from as well.

The whole presentation seems to be lacking the polish that is evident in other action titles available on the Xbox.

Some players, particularly the hardcore fans, may find the stripped down feel and presentation a cheap reflection of the franchise while others may find the more streamlined gameplay easier to jump into.

Those minigame levels are the most fun you’ll have with Bolt. The rest of the game is a buggy mess, full of bad framerates and full-on game crashes at times.

Double Dragon succeeds in delivering the same action as its NES predecessor, but it’s bogged down by its total lack of difficulty and the pitiful emulation job.

If you are looking for a new multiplayer shooter to pass the time until a triple A release comes out and have the points to spare than Breach may be for you. For everyone else try the 30 minute trial first.

The best way to describe the gameplay in Rocketmen: Axis of Evil would be to call it the bastard child of "Flash Gordon" and "Smash TV."

I wish there were more boss fights (and that there were more super-villains rather than the four), and I wish that the "witty" banter could have been reined in by about 300%. Over-all though, I was more impressed and happy with this game than I was disappointed while playing it.

You will, however, find the console fans bickering about the sluggish play, friendly AI glitches, and the overall lack of excitement that surround this title.

The weak platforming gameplay and story do nothing to bring in non-fans, and even repeated viewers of the program should think twice before trading the coin needed for this disk.

The suspect RTS elements, when combined with the premium price tag, make it hard to recommend Guilty Gear 2: Overture as a release-day purchase.

Prizefighter’s biggest mistake was trying to be a serious boxing sim. It’s not. It couldn’t be anything further from it unless its name was Facebreaker (zing!). Maybe if the game makers tried to make it a more splendiferous experience, then we’d think it lived up to Don King’s moniker. Instead, it’s a bad boxing game with some really nice extras added on.

Though Xevious was a ground-breaking title when it was released 25 years ago, it’s a great example of how game designers of that era were trying out new things and new ways of challenging players. As such, spending a few Microsoft Points to pick up the XBLA version will give you a good look at what served as a revolutionary game in 1982—and to test your piloting mettle.

A well-designed and fun game overall. I would not go any further than a rental on this game unless you are a hard-core racer and must have every racing title on the market.

One of my major gripes is when you, Sun Soo, die the game just freezes then reloads to the options screen. If you die in mid-fall the game will pause and start to reload with the main character in mid-fall, no cool death scene, nothing.

The ultimate hybrid of the old-school arcade game and next generation console. Your hands are going to hurt at the end of this game, but it’s going to be a blast.

Just completing a single string of pots (the cages the crabs crawl into on the ocean floor, trapping them) in Deadliest Catch: Alaskan Storm is a long and drawn out experience, with a difficult to master control scheme and layers of strategy and management to contend with. On top of that, it will literally make you seasick. In other words, a total PC game.

The Snowblind engine is as solid as ever, but when transferred to a timeframe where enemies use guns and are able to shoot you from way off screen, the gameplay crumbles pretty quickly.

Four player co-op, a few pretty interesting modes, and a solid combat system equals a fair amount of fun.

This title could have gotten my complete blessing with a few minor tweaks, with the most important being a co-op mode. Single player mode only notwithstanding, Mystery Mayhem is easily worth its weight in Scooby Snacks.
