Narcosis is an unconventional, intense and well written survival horror game. The abyss is a fascinating setting and the character is forced to survive and fight from inside a heavy diving suit, constantly monitoring the oxygen level. However, gameplay is too slow, awkward and inaccurate.

The fans of the Touhou series will probably appreciate another adventure, and that's probably the same for the roguelike genre's ones too. However, there doesn't seem to be much to look forward to for all the other gamers.

Fast, dynamic and extremely competitive, Disc Jam is absolutely entertaining, considering the few structural problems.

Fallout 4 is a good game under different aspects. Fast and funny, gives different hours of fun for the players who are looking for a dirty and destructive racing game.

Toukiden 2 is both a solid hunting game and a vast open world, and even if it cannot match the ones from the AAA games seen recently (from Horizon to Breath of the Wild), it has more than enough juice to keep fan busy for at least a couple of weeks. If you liked the previous titles, you'll find much more of the same here and a couple of new twists that add to the gameplay.

Everyone has to play Ghosts'n Goblins. The only problem of the game is the touch interface, that make the game even more cruel.

Mass Effect Andromeda is a huge space opera, made by interesting character stories and a beautiful and dynamic combat system, set up in beautiful planets rich with activities and sub-quests.

A puzzle game with a pleasant narrative, and a decent voice acting. Still, the gameplay relies on puzzles not always satisfying, and the physics is not so precise in some occasions.

We enjoyed our time with Kona Day One, even if the survival and combat elements often give the idea of being thrown into the mix without too much thought. When the game does what it's best at, which means telling a story, can make you forget about technical hiccups and a lackluster finale. A good beginning for a new series we're curious to see unravel.

The developers of Atelier Firis tried to create a product that could satisfy both purists and new players. And they succeeded: even if it is a niche title, it's worth a look by the fans of the genre.

It's disappointing to see nothing new in the Switch version of I am Setsuna, but we're still talking about a very good JRPG and the only offering right now for all the Nintendo fans on their new console. A recommended choice if you didn't get to play it elsewhere.

If you think about Mankind Divided, A Criminal Past feels like a more of the same: the plot is nothing special and the level design is not as brilliant as it was in the main game, but the prison is a fascinating scenery and the way you have to deal with the lack of augmentations make things way more interesting.

1-2 Switch isn't Wii Sports, the new features are interesting but the lack of variety of the gameplay and the price too high make them not worthy.

For the ones who don't own a Vita (and, unfortunately, there's a lot of them), Danganronpa 1-2 Reload is a great chance to experience two of the best visual novels around at a bargain price. But for the ones that already played them , this PS4 package doesn't bring anything new to the table.

Each of Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove's campaigns shines in its own right, but playing the same levels three times over, albeit re-designed for each character, can get boring after a while.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is a game with two souls. If played with friends it can offer a huge map with lots of missions, and important strategy elements with the coordinated efforts of the team. Played in single player, it shows some technical problems, especially those related to the other Ghost, controlled by the AI.

2Dark is a very good survival horror that always mixes some interesting action and stealth mechanics. The art design is very good, characterized by plenty of blood and violence.

DESYNC is a retro-futuristic shooter, that mix the killing-style of Bulletstorm, the art direction of Tron and the fast-paced action of Painkiller, all wrapped with a thick fog and a sadistic level of difficulty.

Mario Sports Superstars won't wow any 3DS fan, since a lot of the content is recycled from other franchises and other 3DS games (such as Mario Golf World Tour e Mario Tennis Open), but, taken for what it is, a nice collection of very good sport-inspired minigames, can grant several hours of fun to both veterans and newcomers.

Super Bomberman R is far too pricey for what it offers, especially considering that the online multiplayer suffered from lag issues during our tests. This is still a decent Bomberman game, a decent launch game and a very good multiplayer game, but it is neither as appealing if played alone nor one of the best games in the long lasting franchise.

NieR: Automata succeeds in many of its elements: a complex and deep story, with a unique style of narration, a dystopic and totally story driven open world and a fantastic mix between hack'n'slash and jRPG styles.

Ys Origin is a good throwback to a time when action RPG were much simpler than they are today, but also a reminder that simple gameplay can be enjoyable and fun even ten or more hours later. The only downsides are a short length and a lack of variety, but this is nonetheless recommended to Adol Christin fans.

Let's face the elephant in the room: Planescape Torment this is not. Still, we're talking about a very deep and rewarding CRPG that borrows some mechanics and game design choices from its famous ancestor and tries to walk a different path, making the player read and dialogue instead of mindlessly fighting. A good pick for old time D&D players, but the crown is still held by Pillars of Eternity.

A hilarious point-and-click adventure, with tons of quotes from movies, tv shows, and games, and funny dialogues. The gameplay is pretty traditional, though even too cruel sometimes. Still, if you want to have some fun playing a decent adventure, this is a good pick.
