Resident Evil 5 carries on the same action path started with its predecessor. The main innovation is of course co-op mode, which delivers good fun if played online, but due to glitches in the friendly A.I., spoils the single player experience. Die hard fans will be happy to know that the story goes deep, and it's well connected with the last chapters of the series. Graphics and sound are simply stunning. If you miss the old survival horror genre you will surely be disappointed, but Resident Evil 5 is still a great action game, especially if enjoyed all the way through with a friend.

With an old style gameplay, unique visuals and many other peculiarities, MadWorld is indeed the mature Wii game that many were waiting for. Potential buyers should be warned though, this is not just a black-and-white action game, for its mechanics could make it frustrating for those not used to an old style scoring system. Add this to a desolating length, and what you get is a controversial product, split between its visionary genius and very basic gameplay issues. Some will love it, others will hate it; it will be remembered, but it’s not the absolute masterpiece many were waiting for.

MySims Party extends the Wii party game choice. Fun if played with three other friends, it gets boring in Single Player. MySims Party is one of the best party games around, but it doesn’t introduce innovation like Wario Ware and, and it’s not funny like Rayman Raving Rabbids. Recommended only for those who can’t live without party games.

Codename: Panzers - Cold War is a quite good RTS, but it doesn’t offer a real challenge because of a poor A.I. and some simplistic gameplay choices. Probably hardcore-RTS players won’t like it, but newbies could be interested in a game easy to learn and play.

Tomb Raider Underword: Lara’s Shadow is an interesting second DLC, presenting a totally different approach to the game, thanks to a gameplay in this new level, more action oriented. The abilities of the new main character are a nice introduction, but at the same time will split the gamers in fan of the fresh gameplay and detractor of the new direction. Nevertheless, Lara’s Shadow is a must have for everyone who want to follow the story of the beautiful heroine.

Despite its age, Pimkin delivers an immersive experience. Technically is surely getting old, but style and playability make it great on Wii. This is your chance to add 10 years of Nintendo's history to your collection: think about it.

Mario Power Tennis is a perfect starter for future tennis brands anticipated on Wii. Lots of minigames make this title a good choice if Wii Sports feels a little bit old, and you can't stand the wait for the Wii Motion Plus.

Watchmen: The End is Nigh is overall way too short and easy to be considered a good choice for action fans. Hack'n'slash mechanics are too repetitive to deliver enough fan, placing this title way below the Digital Delivery usual standard. Let's hope the next chapters will be developed with more care, for the Watchmen franchise surely deserves better than this.

Halo Wars brings the Halo atmosphere in the RTS world, thanks to great sounds, graphics, animations and charisma as well. The game completes the Halo FPS trilogy, unveiling unknown important storyline steps, but the lack of a deeper control layout and innovative ideas results in a superficial management of the troops , which will become frustrating in a lot of gameplay situations. The presence of only 15 campaign missions with only 2 factions Skirmish doesn’t help it to become a "Heroic" product. Probably its still the best "classic-style" RTS for a console, if you don’t consider "EndWar" (which has a different gameplay concept), but it could be a better game.

H.A.W.X. is without a doubt the best title of its genre on this generation of consoles. Despite a classic gameplay, some missions push the edges of simple missile fighting. The versus mode is funny and will keep you busy for a long time. If you like a good blend of arcade a simulation, you're going to have a lot of fun with this last "Clancy's" title.

Family Ski and Snowboard is a good title, but it doesn't deliver anything innovative compared to its predecessor. The Balance Board will enhance the simulation feeling and immersion, though there surely are ways to improve the gameplay. Split-screen is fun, but you will miss an online mode.

Killzone 2 is a unique experience. The intense single player and a compelling "Call of Duty"-style multiplayer deliver an impressive package by themselves. If you add an outstanding engine and design, what you get is the masterpiece everyone was waiting for. The only drawback is the plot, weak and affected by bi-dimensional characters. Since plot isn't really the core aspect of a shooter game, Killzone 2 is still a must buy for every genre fan, and it raises the bar for every future production.

Ugly graphics and bad gameplay totally ruined a good concept. Despite this we recommend you try Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard because it’s a funny game based on a histrionic character that will make everyone laugh all the time.

50 Cent: Blood on the sand exceeds every early expectation; it's good action, with a good cover system and a funny arcade shooting experience. Replayability is allowed through lots of unlockables and weapons to buy, and of course the funny ccoperative mode. Not only for 50 Cent and G Unit fans, but every action lover will have fun with this Swordfish Studios' joint.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope represent a big step forward for the series of tri-Ace. The combat system it's fun and challenging as well as the crafting system. Graphically the title looks good, except for the animations and PG characterization that deserved more attention. The story unfortunately isn't so good, stuffed with clichés and a cast rather weak, such that it can not support many hours of gameplay and meet the real experts of J-Rpg.

Tom Clancy's Endwar is an innovative RTS, suitable both for the genre-fan and the newbie. The gameplay is slightly more action than usual, and the closer look to the battlefield could disappoint the strategy purists, but vocal commands and great visuals make this game a must-try.

Tomb Raider Underword: Beneath the Ashes is a good first DLC, offering a good new setting and puzzles, new cut-scene as well as an ending good to build enough hype for the plot, waiting for the final act, entitled Lara’s Shadow. But this new level presents also many bad issues, mostly technical, and the 800 Microsoft Points price is not so cheap for a half an hour of longevity. Recommended only to biggest fans of Lara.

Warhammer 40.000 Dawn of War II is an interesting hybrid between strategy and action in its single player campaign, but shows a completely different face on the multiplayer side, strategically deep and less frantic. Several flaws, like the repetitive gameplay and missing modes and maps from the multiplayer don't allow a full marks promotion. Strategy newbies and casual gamers will love it, but RTS hardcore fans should try before buying.

With a simple gameplay that become realistic only at the highest level of difficulty, Race Pro is a good game that everyone can try and enjoy. A large number of car classes gives to the game a good longevity; unhappily there are few tracks and the A.I. isn’t challenging. Graphics aren’t at next gen level and audio could be better.

The Street Fighter series goes back to its origins with this new chapter. Introducing a new amazing graphical style, this is THE must-buy for everyone out there. What’s more, it could be the best way to start a Street Fighter experience for newcomers, thanks to a great control system.

The Lost and Damned is not a traditional DLC, but a full expansion pack. With an average-action-shooter length and a full multiplayer, it's a sweet return to the Liberty City, from a different yet believable point of view. More than worth its 1200 MS, and a must-buy for every GTA fan.

Flower is a great attempt to break the habits of the average videogamer. Many interesting ideas and details make this game unique, supported by great graphics and musical score. The result might disorient the gamer in the first steps, but once you got it right, this experience really delivers. The only real drawback in the poor length, but considered the price, there's no reason to miss Flower.
