X-Men Origins Wolverine is a thrilling action game, and it delivers all the violence and the testosteronic action that Logan's fans were asking for. A great combat system is mixed with good level design; on the other side, the difficulty level is not challenging, and there's a lot of repetitiveness in the second half.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a tin-pot tie-in. Bad graphics quality and repetitive gameplay doesn't help it to become a must buy. Only for Wolverine true fans.

Graphically confused, the sound is limited, the gameplay does not entertain for more than half an hour and longevity is short. You don’t replay the game because the character is not difficult to master and the extra level of difficulty is not enough to start the game again.

Velvet Assassin delivers a fresh point of view on the Second World War scenario, providing the player with more intense and human aspects than the average shooter. Sadly, the stealth gameplay is split between great level design and lousy A.I, while the overall experience feels a little bit too linear. Disappointing, since a deeper testing could've made a great game of this interesting concept.

Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce is a good attempt to innovate with the franchise, introducing some RPG elements and, with a more flexible action component, the experience offered is quite new. The good multiplayer mode helps in the longevity department. Unfortunately the badly calibrated difficulty level makes the game more oriented to be played in cooperative mode, leaving the singleplayer disadvantaged.

Uncomfortable controls, painful save points management and a bad A.I. could make the game frustrating. It might sound unbelievable, but sometimes this game is even funny.

Cryostasis isn't a game for everyone. If you're looking for something different, if plot and atmosphere are the first aspect you care for, this title could be perfect for you. On the other hand, if you need action, lots of weapons and causal fun, the PC market is full of titles that will entertain you better than this.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 turned out to be a well done product, mostly on the technical side, and a quite entertaining one. The numerous game modes, as well as a plot not particularly inspired but interesting enough, guarantee an enjoyable experience, even if mostly recommended for the anime fun.

One of the more famous games of all time comes to today standards thanks to Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade; even if you don’t know this game and you don’t like 80’s games, you must try Outrun Online Arcade, because it’s a funny and frustration-free title.

The remake of Butcher Bay is a great work: a classic game with enhanced graphics and the same great gameplay... despite this the new story, Escape From Dark Athena, is simply pointless. Multiplayer quality is too far from today standards, so it results in a valueless feature.

All in all, The Godfather II goes on the same path of its predecessor: funny gameplay, but repetitive, cool design, but graphics look old. You can squeeze the best out of it while managing your rackets, but the fun won’t last long, and won’t leave much behind when it’s over.

This cinematic action game is the result of several action classics melted together, without any alchemy. The final product is indeed unpolished and unaccomplished, split between over-the-top quick time events, and repetitive hack’n’slashing. It doesn’t lack personality, it’s more a matter of unbalancing in the features.

A decent fighter, but not for everybody: all the hardcore fan of the brand will be happy enough with a complete roster of fighters and the usual, flashy and fast gameplay. Overall though, the game it's not worth the full price, since nothing really new hits the PSP screens, and, as any other "more of the same", only a few will buy it.

The Dishwasher Dead Samurai has a great design, unique style and funny gameplay, but it lacks in detail quality. After few hours of gameplay you could get bored because of its repetitive mechanics, and a too-short story mode. Online Multiplayer is too far, in terms of functionality, from Castle Crashers; so consider the game only if you want to play in single or in local, trying to get better scores everyday.

Guitar Hero: Metallica its an excellent chapter of the series, thanks to some fixing to the gameplay and the new modes dedicated to the drummers. Dedicated to all the fans of Metallica, the numerous extras and the tracklist won't let you down. The only major defect is the lack of compatibility with the DLCs of World Tour, ruining the longevity of the title. Definitely a game for every Rhythm game and most of all for every Metallica lovers.

The collaboration between Vin Diesel’s software house and Midway has given birth to something original and exciting, with fast paced action and Hollywood blockbuster’s style as the best elements in the game. Longevity, around 15 hours, is another strong point in the production, making of this game a must have for all the free roaming action game lovers, who will find in Wheelman the right dose of adrenaline and cinematic action.
