With more polished graphics, fewer bugs and a better AI, Defiance could aspire to even more ambitious goals. Perhaps the right upgrades will come shortly, but now you have an imperfect MMO although courageous and, above all, one that is pretty fun.

Tekken Card Tournament in a free-to-play game developed by Namco Bandai. The player will fight with his card against the players of all the world. The game has a good but not excellent graphic, a good sound and a simple and nice gameplay.

A narrative masterpiece that heavily improves on the gameplay of its predecessors and springs the genre forward. Columbia has done the impossible: it surpasses Rapture.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 is a sequel that improves every aspect of the predecessor, also adding a fun multiplayer. Sin for the abuse of some ideas and the repetitive mechanics, like the combat with the ghosts. However, a great game with a great and ironic atmosphere.

A suggested short story that speaks of loneliness, desperation, and a world that has to fight against two inexorable enemies: nature and human kind. If you look at the gameplay, there's not such a great challenge, but, on the other hand, you may find dramatic and deep storytelling.

Lego City Undercover is the first true free-roaming videogame developed by TT Fusion, and this is evident from a number of technical issues (going from an unstable frame-rate to tedious aliasing). From a narrative point of view the story is entertaining and filled with references to the popular culture, and speaking of content, the ridiculous amount of extras hidden everywhere in the game world is undeniable. A good first step in the free-roaming genre, hoping that an eventual second episode will fix all the technical problems while innovating the gameplay.

The Best Monster Hunter on home consoles. Plenty of weapons, monsters and quests make this chapter the perfect one. Now we just need a new game developed for the next gen consoles.

The absence of the online multiplayer and the need for a Circle Pad Pro represent two big stains on the blanket of this edition of Monster Hunter. Only half a Nintendo fan will rejoice for this.

Brutal Legend hss not aged in the past four years and now that it's available on PC, with the two DLCs, enhanced graphics and budget price, it's a great pleasure.

Awakened is a fun and enjoyable DLC. The gameplay of Dead Space 3 is enriched by the visions that affect Isaac and the atmosphere is very good. The cost is too high, the nature of post-final and the very short duration would be enough to reject, but in the end, Awakened is good for the fans of the series.

Despite its tremendous launch, day one DLCs, and always online mode SimCity is still a really good game with some new interesting feature.

An amazingly crafted expansion that completely modifies the competitive metagame while maintaining the fine balancing of the best RTS around. The narrative could have been better, but the campaign is still a great piece of work that thrives on its amazing variety.

In an attempt to insert into Impire too many ideas and different features inspired by other games in the genre, Cyanide Montreal has created a product characterized by an extremely limiting gameplay, ironically making the game even more repetitive than it would have been with a simpler formula.

The formula of this super indie puzzle game is centered on the gravity and some levels will test your patience, although it does not come to spikes of pure frustration.

If you do not mind waiting 20 or 30 minutes to repair your car after a race or if you love the freemium formula with its sneaky purchases system, Real Racing 3 is simply the best racing-simulation game available today on App Store.

The new direction Castlevania has taken can be liked or not, and we personally fall into the latter category, but Mirror of Fate is nonetheless a very good, albeit not perfect, action game for 3DS. If only it was devoid of that tedious quick time events.

While still a great action game, it's definitely the least refined of the bunch, and starts to show some big issues when it comes to defensive mechanics, due to some miscalculations in the challenge level. The multiplayer luckily improves the experience, with fun gameplay and some exhilarating moments.

Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army is purely co-op experience and with such approach it doesn't fail to entertain a lot. The action is fast-paced, cooperative tactics are pretty solid, the atmosphere in scary and the Kill Cam is always exciting.

A decent DLC, that offers a new character whose combo potential and gameplay is as spectacular as that of the main protagonist. Pity it's a bit too short, and doesn't really offer any original content.

Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien is a beautiful platform "on rails" driven by the rhythm of music, just like its predecessor Bit.Trip.Runner. Gaijin Games was clearly extremely inspired when began working on the title, and the result is a product full of content, challenging and, most importantly, extremely fun. Highly recommended.

Miss Croft's return is a finely crafted action-adventure title, with solid game design choices and some spectacular moments. The action-packed gameplay can't really support the forcefully crude and violent narrative of the campaign though, and the lack of originality and challenge lessens the experience in the end. It's definitely a great game, but with some ballsy moves it could have been an amazing one.
