We are once again faced with a fairly quick remaster of a masterpiece, and then once again we can not promote it in its entirety, having to evaluate not only the quality of the original game, but also that of the restoration.

A great and fun arcade shooter. A little gem that needs to be supported and expanded by Arrowhead. The game presents some really nice ideas in a too-tiny, and repetitive, universe.

A bold metroidvania that places Pac-Man in a dark, narrative-driven world. Strong concept and solid fanservice, but held back by unpolished mechanics, uneven difficulty, and imprecise controls. Still, a unique and entertaining entry point for newcomers to the genre.

Burnout Paradise Remastered brings 4K standard on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, and 60 FPS rock solid. Stellar Entertainment reaches the result without effort.

A decent DLC, that offers a new character whose combo potential and gameplay is as spectacular as that of the main protagonist. Pity it's a bit too short, and doesn't really offer any original content.

We can consider ourselves satisfied with the experience offered by Ride. Despite its problems, largely physiological for a debut of this type, the game offers something really new in the world of virtual motorcycling.

Disney’s Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a solid revitalization of a work with grand ambitions, perhaps weighed down by the high expectations surrounding its creator. While it remains a good game, straddling the line between platformer and action-adventure, the overall quality feels somewhat inconsistent. The remaster smooths out some of the game’s more notorious rough edges and improves certain aspects of gameplay, but it can’t fully overturn the fate of a title that needed to do much more to leave a lasting impression.

Those who loved the mechanics of the original title may not appreciate the big changes in this DLC. Conversely, those who are looking for a stealth and extremely more tense experience than the adventure of Castellanos, will find this new adventure amazing.

Despite a rather limited budget and a questionable balance between puzzles and combat, Dungeons of Hinterberg offers an original and very enjoyable vision of the dungeon crawler concept, interposing a narrative that is anything but banal and surprisingly deep dialogues to the exploration and dynamics typical of the genre. If taken as a pure and simple dungeon crawler, Curve Games' work is just another colorful proposal in a rather crowded market - and populated by structurally and mechanically more valid congeners -, but the mix of typical elements of this type of game and snippets of everyday life, with a protagonist who is easy to identify with, makes the proposal of the Austrian team Microbird Games unique.

Agents of Mayhem is an interesting experiment, but with short legs. While on one hand we have twelve agents all different and fun to use in fast-paced and dynamic gameplay mechanics, on the other hand we have a gameplay experience ruined mostly for the repetition of missions background and the copious presence of bugs and glitches ready to make you start a great run over again.

LocoRoco 2 brings to the table a solid platform experience that resembles too closely its predecessor. However, the game is still highly recommended for all those who loved the first chapter.

Matterfall is a nostalgic iteration of Nineties' coin-ops. It's an hybrid shooter, that combines side-scrolling with flying sections and platforming. It throws the player into the gameplay without premises, making him to survive among aliens, robots and bullet-hell levels. Its challenging gameplay will be a great thing for every person who lived the last coin-op era, but also modern gamers may have the will to try it.

Challenging and well-designed, Octo Expansion is a nice add-on for the players that are looking for something new in Splatoon 2. And you can play it while offline, so it's perfect to take with you on the go. Just keep in mind that you can't throw your Joy-Cons away while trying to complete a stage for the tenth time.

Beholder delivers a tough experience from the narrative standpoint, and a challenging gameplay. The player will face hard choices, and will have to live with the aftermath of its decisions every single time. The graphic is appealing, though sometimes it feels like the burden that the player has to carry - especially with the high number of quests given at the same time - can be a little discouraging. However, this is an original and suggested game.

Once again, the extraordinary capacity of Dontnod to tell stories leaves a mark, this time inferring doubts in the mind of the player and unleashing a couple of punches in the stomach that led us to think about our possibly wrong in-game choices.

Spyborgs is a great game. If you’re into Capcom games that have had an impact, then you’re looking in the right direction with this particular title. This game is an enjoyable gaming experience and you will probably want to play through the game with all three characters to experiment with all of their different moves but otherwise there is not much reason to replay the game other than the fact that it is very fun. There is also a higher difficulty level and a few other interesting bonus to unlock.

The new direction Castlevania has taken can be liked or not, and we personally fall into the latter category, but Mirror of Fate is nonetheless a very good, albeit not perfect, action game for 3DS. If only it was devoid of that tedious quick time events.

While retaining some flaws of the original games, Mass Effect Legendary Edition (and specifically ME1’s remaster and modern take on the action) is worth exploring once again for the fans, and for those who’ve always wondered what was so special about the franchise and never gave it a try.
