Beautiful characters, beautiful dialogue, great atmosphere with thrilling sequences, mystery and some sparks of comedy. The classic by Jane Jensen is still a joy to play.

Chloe and Nadine's adventure demonstrates that the world of Uncharted can tell many other stories even without the iconic Nathan Drake. The Lost Legacy is a successful spin-off that includes the very best of the series and offers a new and interesting point of view.

The long awaited end of the Erebonian arc is finally here, and it's a huge and well-written, if not classic, JRPG, that is recommended to all fans of the series. It's a tough sell for newcomers, though, so the advice is to play the other three chapters before this one.

Star Wars Battlefront II is a game rich with content and extremely close to the Star Wars Universe. Graphics are impressive and the gameplay is simple and solid. Iden is not the character we expected, but the campaign has the power to brings all the Star Wars Experience directly to the player, taking him to the different planets and giving him eventually a limited perspective of what happened from Episode VI to Episode VII.

If you've spent dozens and dozens of hours with Civilization V, Beyond Earth will probably be your favorite game of the year. The new work by Firaxis built a fortress on the foundations laid by his predecessor, and comes to offer a more complex, customized, comprehensive and demanding experience.

Even though some gameplay mechanics are questionable and certain sections feel misaligned with the original spirit of the series, Silent Hill f still manages to leave a deep mark. It’s not a perfect experience, but it’s one that should be approached with clear eyes and a mindful perspective—one that can grasp the emotional depth running through its story. The game speaks to those who know the weight of their own fragility, to those who have learned that the mind can be as unsettling as any nightmare. In Silent Hill f, horror isn’t just something outside—it slowly seeps into the inner self, into what’s left unsaid, into distorted memories. It’s a journey that, despite some obvious lows, exposes the most vulnerable parts of the human soul—the ones so often hidden behind silence.

Simply a masterpiece. There's really no reason why this one shouldn't be in your collection, whether you are a fan of the saga or not. It's so funny and polished you really can't miss it.

Despite the high pricing, this DLC is really filled with great content: the four maps are able to offer very different tactical experiences, and Call of the Dead, while not reinventing the gameplay of the zombie mode, will have you laughing while trying to survive. Fans can't miss it.

Dirt 4 is the conjunction between arcade gamers and simulation lovers. It has a beautifully programmed learning phase and Your Stage can really evolve the way to live Rally in games, even if we were expecting e far more intense upgrade from the previous game.

Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning is not perfect. Its graphics and sound are nothing to sing about, and frequent loading times kind of spoil the experience. Still, it's a gigantic and deep action-rpg, with fast paced combat, an astonishing amount of quests and sub quests, and the best character development system we have seen in ages. If you love role playing games, you will love Amalur. It's a Big Huge Game indeed.

Metal Slug 3 for iOS is a great porting and touch controls are implemented very well. Price and credits could have been better, but if you're looking for a great "run & gun shooter" for your iOS device, Metal Slug 3 is the right answer.

What 343 Industries did with the gameplay is definitely great. They had the balls to change a beloved formula, and finally hit their true mark in the series. Halo 5's competitive multiplayer is also an amazing experience, varied and fun, and the addition of Warzones is fantastic for those players who love chaotic battles in large maps. The campaign, though, is disappointing both in structure and in story. Characters, situations, and all the possibilities given by the presence of two different teams were completely wasted, and that's truly a pity. Get it for the multiplayer, not for the story.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is both the culmination of a formula TT Games has refined over twenty years and the moment that formula stops being enough on its own. The game doesn't simply reproduce what has always worked: it dismantles it, rebuilds it with new materials, and attempts something the LEGO games had never genuinely tried before. To be a Batman game in the fullest sense of the term.

Elite: Dangerous is one of the games with the greatest potential ever seen in the history of this media. At present, we are talking about a title that includes a reproduction in 1: 1 scale of our galaxy, with billions of stars to explore and contents that go far beyond the life expectancy of a human being. In one word: incredible.

Mario Tennis Fever hits its main goal by putting the pure arcade tennis experience front and center. Fast-paced, fun, and built on several smart ideas, above all is extremely solid in its core mechanics. While the single-player campaign is less engaging than in the previous entry, and the potential of motion controls is largely left unexplored, these shortcomings do little to overshadow what ultimately stands as the most mature and refined chapter in the Mario Tennis saga.

It doesn’t turn the original formula upside down (obviously, since it worked so well), and it could have been way better from a narrative standpoint with more courage, and yet Bravely Second is still and amazing JRPG, and a must buy for anyone who liked the first chapter in the series.

Here and there there are still remnants of outdated formulas, but in the end what really counts is the plot, the world and the legendary alter ego; from this point of view Final Fantasy IV cannot disappoint.
