It’s an interesting take on the usual “walking simulator” and a dividing experience that many will appreciate. The art direction is great, as are most of the dialogues between the characters, and yet the closure of the story isn’t fully satisfying. It could have been... more.

As a debut for Storm in a Teacup, Nero is a partial success that you should try. While not free from defects and with puzzles that, in many cases, leave something to be desired in terms of originality and variation, the touching story told by Nero has been able to excite us in many moments.

Old players who have grown up with the first two episodes of the Suikoden franchise and backers of the Kickstarter campaign will be the most pleased by Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes, and old school JRPG through and through. Divisive game design choices aside, what we have here is a solid effort, but also one that looks too much to the past and much less to the future of the genre.

In Other Waters is a pretty unique experience, characterized by an amazingly crafted art direction, but plagued by some flaws in the gameplay flow. We recommend playing it on your TV, because in handheld mode the UI and the text size can become pretty painful.

You could consider it as slightly more than a 3DS tech demo, perfect for the launch of the new hardware, but in need of way ore content to fully satisfy the player.

Long story short: if you can count on four friends to play online, then Bloodsports.TV can be considered as an entertaining game. Otherwise, if you can’t manage to find other players online to play, the game will deliver a forgettable experience.

Impressive atmosphere, good puzzles and an absorbing storyline, in this slow but inspiring adventure. It's no masterpiece, but you'll want to discover more and more as you play.

Payday 2 on Nintendo Switch will not revolutionize the genre, but it's a very good porting, except for some technical issues and no voice chat at launch. An enjoyable cooperative FPS, so far.

The Saboteur delivers some good fun with the atmosphere of its beautiful setting. On the other hand, gameplay could disappoint demanding players, used to higher quality productions. If you like free roaming and Paris, you should at least give it a try.

Invincible VS is a fighting game that works in the short term, thanks to an accessible system and a strong identity inherited from the series, but that struggles to find a true direction in the medium term. The simplification of gameplay, a negligible story mode and an inconsistent technical execution limit a project that could have aimed for much more. It remains an enjoyable title in the first few hours, but one that risks losing its appeal quickly, especially in an already crowded competitive landscape.

It may seem a bad clone of Gunpoint, but it's not, it's way more focused on the fighting aspect, and uses it's mechanics in pretty interesting ways. The lack of variety is basically its main problem, but it remains a decent game.

For Dead Rising's last chapter we would have expected a higher challenge level, however this problem doesn't affect the basic gameplay completely, due to the good amount of new weapons that still brings a lot o fun.

PUBG 1.0 might have been released a bit too early and this choice hasn’t paid off when it comes to optimization. Regardless, for what matters (content), this release has a more mature structure that the developers will be able to enrich from time to time thanks to the events and the live component.

Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce is a good attempt to innovate with the franchise, introducing some RPG elements and, with a more flexible action component, the experience offered is quite new. The good multiplayer mode helps in the longevity department. Unfortunately the badly calibrated difficulty level makes the game more oriented to be played in cooperative mode, leaving the singleplayer disadvantaged.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is like a tie-in of 15 year ago with corridors, forced paths to follow and little arenas in which you must fight enemies in the same way. Marvel's fan will adore references, easter eggs and cameos, but it's not enough to make this project shine like a new star in the galaxy.

Simply put, Armageddon doesn't deliver the same spectacular, over the top entertainment of its predecessor. The free roaming, completely stripped from this sequel, was clearly and important piece of the puzzle. As a simple third person shooter, the game doesn't work that well anymore, and you'll surely find much better products in the same genre.

The Dishwasher Dead Samurai has a great design, unique style and funny gameplay, but it lacks in detail quality. After few hours of gameplay you could get bored because of its repetitive mechanics, and a too-short story mode. Online Multiplayer is too far, in terms of functionality, from Castle Crashers; so consider the game only if you want to play in single or in local, trying to get better scores everyday.

Unlike the previous chapters, Watch Dogs Legion has a strong identity and some bold takes on the action adventure genre, on top of an inspired setting. However, it still suffers the usual Ubisoft open world's troubled progression and meaningful narrative.
