Red Dead Redemption 2 is Rockstar's greatest game to date. It's also their most mature game in every aspect: technical, narrative and playable. Its slow pace may not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you're patient, the reward is the most lively and thrilling world we've ever had in a videogame, in which everything is seamlessly integrated.- SomosXbox

Faerûn is a unique world. The story of Baldur's Gate 3 is outstanding. Coupled with gameplay that knows how to effectively mix the turn-based system with its exploration in real time. A ten music that manages to transport us to a fantasy environment that has a looming danger. The building of relationships, the enemies and the dangers that we will find in Faerûn, make this Larian adventure almost 100% complete. A game that will go down in history and remain in the hearts of millions of players forever. Highly recommended.- SomosXbox

Elden Ring is a real milestone for its developers and one of the best titles we've played in the last few years. The way it mixes the gameplay from Dark Souls with a highly refined exploration offers a really fresh take on the saturated open world market. Despite some notable technical issues, they don't put a stain in the great taste of what promises to be one of the games that leaves a mark on a whole genre, and maybe, the best game From Software has ever developed.- SomosXbox

Celeste is ... like heaven. The level design is fantastic, artistically takes your breath away and playability is perfect. It's highly complicated, especially after the first round, but very satisfying. Celeste itself explains why "indie games" exist.- SomosXbox

Supergiant Games has very little to prove with Hades in its console version, beyond its performance and optimization. It's not just that it has been nominated for game of the year. It's that this game already managed to massively captivate critics and audiences alike in 2020. If we can add anything, I would say that Hades evolves in every way every time you play it, both playable and narratively. From what we can highlight the combat, which is the core of the game, is highly satisfying. This is a game you should at least try.- SomosXbox

Split Fiction is a must-play for anyone who enjoyed It Takes Two. It takes the same formula as It Takes Two and pushes it even further, with much more detailed levels, a greater variety of mechanics between stages, and a story that will leave no one indifferent. Without a doubt, Split Fiction is going to be a strong contender for the GOTY awards this year, and for good reason, there hasn’t been another game that blends so many elements together and achieves what this title does.- SomosXbox

Capcom has done an incredible job with Resident Evil 2 remake. Gameplay is smooth and characters are realistic. Story changes feel like Resident Evil 2 is the same as always, but also something completely new. It's about time a survival horror game wins Game of The Year. And Resident Evil 2 deserves the title.- SomosXbox

Infinite Wealth is a very complete, almost infinite game, with a story that closes the Gaiden and Yakuza Like a Dragon arcs, as well as saying goodbye to the greatest character of the entire saga, with a tribute that really does him justice, and not only to him, but also to the players who have followed him through all the games.- SomosXbox

It's obvious that this is not a samurai skin over a Dark Souls game. It's more than that. It's a new rebirth that will delight Miyazaki-san followers and that will only be mastered by those who display their utmost skill and patience. It's a game that really penalizes mistakes. A game where you have to learn the behaviour of the enemies you face and be constantly adapting to take on the next challenge. And of course it's a very difficult game, a very big one.- SomosXbox

F1 2020 seems to be the same, but it isn't. Technically it hasn't changed, but it was good enough as racing game in F1 2019, and doesn't need to improve this. F1 2020 gives you the opportunity to manage your career as pilot, or as a Team, to become a legend. And it gives to the users new chances for feeling this championship as never before. With this new Career Modes and in a unusual circumstances, F1 2020 becomes the racing game that everybody wants.- SomosXbox

Balatro is as good as Slay the Spire was. It's a roguelike deckbuilder, but beginning from a poker deck. The concept is both original and fun. Its modifier cards offer almost unlimited possibilities, making each run unique in its own way. Balatro gives you hours and hours of entertaining and we can just wait for new content in the future. Ori and the Will of the Wisps is not only a great platform game, now it is also an amazing action game. The beauty of its visuals and its soundtrack hide a very hard and challenging game where a mistake can cost you very expensive, but that rewards with moments of a beauty and madness difficult to overcome. Not only does it become one of the hits of the genre and one of the most important releases of the year, it also becomes one of the essential games in the entire Xbox One catalog.- SomosXbox

Monster Hunter Wilds maintains its core essence of hunting and forging, but it seems directed at a new audience, softening the difficulty and removing challenges like the Elder Dragons. While enjoyable, it may seem less challenging to veterans, with much of the exciting content postponed for a future expansion. The innovations shine in the game, but the lack of difficulty may demotivate experienced players from utilizing the variety of tools at their disposal, leaving a bittersweet taste as we await updates that will motivate continued hunting.- SomosXbox
