Time is fascinating, and has been the source of many entertaining discourses and diversions. Shadow of Destiny is yet another.- Quandary

Clare (aged 10) says: I like the game a lot. Jumping over big gaps or on to moving things is a bit hard so I turned on auto jump, which made it a lot easier. Learning spells is pretty easy.- Quandary

You can almost feel the damp and the cold; and the echoing 'plink' of unseen dripping water or disembodied moans and a myriad of dungeon clangs and creaks haunt your every step.- Quandary

The story literally trips along as you solve the puzzles, and there are some fun things to do and a few frights to be had before you reach the end.- Quandary

So because of its simplicity and relative shortness I'd say this game is more for the teenage player, which is not surprising as it is a PC and console game release.- Quandary

Everything else about Divinity was a joy, and now I find that it's crept onto my list of 5 favourite RPGs of all time. And that's one tough list to get on, believe me!- Quandary

Syberia is a very fine adventure game, gorgeous to look at and with an intriguing and compelling story. It's tremendously enjoyable despite the air of sadness.- Quandary

The single player game is a worthy challenge for players with a taste for strategic fighting, punctuated with some puzzles, and all wrapped up in a daring journey to save the world.- Quandary

Neverwinter Nights isn't perfect. But I nevertheless had a great time on this journey and it's kept me well and truly entertained for the past few weeks.- Quandary

The game deserves praise for the approach it takes to story telling, and the strength of Jazz's part carried me through the lows of Faust.- Quandary

A small conversational clue may lead to a startling revelation. Items you find may seem insignificant at first but may be crucial later. Seemingly unrelated historical information could be just what you need to get your mind focused. It's up to you to make the connections.- Quandary

It really feels like another world and you can play the game however you like - be a mage, thief, acrobat, pearl diver, bodyguard or warrior. Or like myself, be a little bit of each.- Quandary

What starts with the promise of a rather enticing treatment of the famous Jules Verne novel, almost immediately becomes derailed by a search for some of the most minute hotspots ever encountered in a game, and one of the more messy game interfaces.- Quandary

I had fun though, which ultimately is what a game is about, but I did have to struggle with some annoying glitches, and a more than annoying dead end.- Quandary

Whilst the new 3D engine might have brought Might and Magic into the 21st century (some would dispute this) it has changed the game in subtle ways and removed some of the magic and enjoyment.- Quandary

I enjoyed exploring the lonely old manor and its stark surroundings on the shores of Loch Ness. It's a suitably haunting setting for an ancient mystery with links to a more contemporary one.- Quandary

Even if you have no knowledge of things Potterish, detail abounds in the 3D animations, and poking about a school for witches and wizards full of ghosts and secret passages can be enthralling.- Quandary

The balance between complexity of puzzles and progression of the game was pretty well struck. It has its faults, but it looks great, sounds nice and on the whole rolls pleasantly along.- Quandary

Although the vagaries of the combat system will test some players, you will get used to it. Despite my grumbles some of the battles towards the end are quite challenging and require a well thought out strategy to get through.- Quandary

Although it's an interesting chase it could have been so much better with more things going on, more twists in the plot so that the player gets more of a sense of solving problems and progressing under their own steam.- Quandary

If "Riven" was impressive, this is extraordinary. The images are smooth and crisp and detailed. Clouds look like clouds, rock looks hard, water is fluid and deep, and sharp looks like it would hurt.- Quandary
