The penultimate episode of Game of Thrones is a bit of a mess. While there's a lot of meat in this instalment, it still ends up tasting a bit bland. Between oddly behaving characters, technical issues, and poor plotting, this feels like Telltale's least inspired release in some time.

Journey remains one of the most cohesive titles to grace PlayStation.

There's a solid sidescroller in here, but Game Freak's taken it in the wrong direction.

God of War III Remastered delivers a masterful conclusion to Kratos' chaotic story arc – but this much was true when the original release brute forced its way onto the PS3 over five years ago. The bumped up resolution and significantly steadier framerate does improve the experience overall, but not to the point where it's worth paying almost full-price again.

For a fun, engaging battle-'em-up that doesn't cost a penny, it delivers potentially unlimited hours of adrenaline pumping excitement – there's nothing out there quite like it.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter was already great when it released on the PC in late 2014, and the PS4 version succeeds in re-purposing that same experience for a new audience.

If epic stories are your thing, then you probably won't get much enjoyment out of Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess. But the point of the game is its murderous sandbox, and things have only improved in that regard since the original outing was released.

Ultimately, Godzilla can be a reasonably fun romp if you're up for some mindless chaos, but it's too clumsily executed to recommend to anyone who isn't a diehard fan of the King of Monsters.

Astebreed is great fun, and its download price makes it very easy to recommend – it just seems a shame that the game's six stages can be whizzed through in the best part of an afternoon.

Although it doesn't quite reach the heights of a surging opera, this Vita re-release is still worth singing along to if you're a fan of Japanese RPGs.

It doesn't have the flair or the polish of a heavyweight like Final Fantasy XIV Online: A Realm Reborn, but it's certainly worth trying if you're looking for seemingly never ending adventures on PS4 – with or without friends.

The beautiful new areas, incredible story, and massive additions to existing content make Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward an amazing package.

Ultimately, F1 2015 feels pretty lightweight in terms of content, and if you place it side by side with F1 2014, it's clear as day that what we have is little more than the bare-bones basics.

There's lots of enjoyment to be had here, but it's also cruel reminder that the LEGO franchise needs something new to break out of its now conveyer-belt approach.

Sure, this is not a full release – it even adorns the word 'Alpha' on its title screen – but for a few cents it's a fun throwback to the old SEGA arcade days, with an undercurrent of black humour bubbling beneath the surface.

A solid character roster coupled with some eye-catching combat is what this beat-'em-up is all about – even if it could afford to take some more risks, given the wealth of source material on offer.

Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 is a solid handheld Warriors title that's let down by a couple of questionable design choices, namely the tedious bonds system, and the initially overwhelming battle objectives.

It's a superior game that plays brilliantly, and certainly stands in a league of its own in the Arkham line-up for the most part, but it simply doesn't leave your jaw agape like Arkham City seemed to manage with such ease and finesse.

It's not especially fun, but at least it's not utterly broken like last year's attempt. Those tempted should buy in the knowledge that you'll get exactly what you expect, and no reality-busting glitches or road-praising crowds.

Arcania: The Complete Tale is quite possibly the dullest RPG to arrive on the PS4 to date, and as if that wasn't enough, it also manages to be a poster child for all of worst parts of the recent trend for remasters.

We really wanted Wander to be brilliant, but unfortunately, it comes across as half-baked, lacking in things to do, and underwhelming in almost every area.
