Dated and flawed in several aspects, Unknown 9: Awakening is a half-delivered proposal without much quality. There are positive points to praise, such as the universe presented and an interesting combat system, but the overall package is mediocre and below what it could be.

After completing the Remake and revisiting the classic, it became even more difficult to understand the purpose of a new version. It's hard to find a justification for recreating such a recent game. Even more so when the original version is as good, if not better (in some aspects), than the new game. Until Dawn is good and worth playing, it's just not worth the full price investment when the classic edition is still competent.

New World: Aeternum is a good re-release and expansion of the original game, well adapted for consoles and with more than enough setting, combat and content to keep MMORPG fans engaged for dozens of hours.

Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, in its PlayStation 5 version, doesn't really bring anything new to the essence of this great game, focusing instead on updating the visuals to native 4K, using ray tracing, haptic functions and fast loading. That said, it's still an incredible game, and deserves this lame excuse to be revisited again or experienced for the first time.

Nikoderiko is a true love letter not only to Donkey Kong Country and Crash Bandicoot, but also to the platform genre. By mixing the most varied elements present in these games, we are graced with a game that brings a nostalgic and at the same time current experience. Despite presenting some small problems and a boring unlockable system, the game is fun and capable of putting a smile on the player's face with each reference. A title recommended for all fans of the genre and that will please both more experienced players and newcomers.

Based on a narrative of affective contemplation, guided by the poignant emotions of the music in perfect harmony with each moment and built on visual art of profound beauty that few games achieve, Neva is an essential unit, a meaningful experience that does not focus on platforming action, but employs it as a small part of an astounding, determined and hopeful whole.

Ys X: Nordics is an exceptional action RPG. The game returns to the series' roots to deliver a solid experience built on a more strategic gameplay system and a great narrative with excellent characters that captures the sense of adventure and exploration that makes the series so fun.

Drova: Forsaken Kin is a pixel art RPG with enough qualities to pay good tribute to the classics of the genre, but it ends up being hampered by confusing navigation and the countless barriers placed to delay the player's progression.

Persona 3 Reload - Episode Aigis: The Answer is the perfect epilogue to one of the best games of the year. The DLC offers an exceptional narrative about loss, grief, and moving on that brings the characters to a close, while also bringing more of the combat and exploration that make the game so special.

Vibrant and silly, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game is unpretentious and sometimes sloppy, but it embraces the innocent chaos of a character as beloved as the franchise's protagonist. The title gives players the freedom to make a truly reckless mess around Bikini Bottom, especially if they're a creative kid.

Shadows of Doubt has some interface design issues, needs to fix its bugs and is far from being user-friendly. But it is so brilliant in executing its proposal of narrative freedom in solving puzzles that it deserves to be celebrated, especially in times when safe sameness seems to guide the market towards repetition and superficiality.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is a game that hasn't aged well: its combat and bad cutscenes show the title's age. It's worth checking out for the absurd story and if you want a not-so-deep action game. It's a shame, however, that there's no licensed soundtrack.

REYNATIS is a title that could be truly excellent and an interesting attempt by FuRyu to make a modern RPG, but its dissonant elements result in an average experience that prevents it from fully reaching its potential.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is an excellent JRPG with exceptional storytelling, combat, and setting, enhanced by one of the most exquisite graphical styles and soundtracks ever seen. Excellent in every little detail, it is further proof that, when it is at its best, Atlus is incomparable.

Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero marks the return of the arena fighting series and, unfortunately, it remains in the shadow of its predecessors. The essence of Dragon Ball battles is present, but the problems with a weak and, in some fights, somewhat unbalanced story mode lose some of the magic. Its cluttered and unintuitive interface also leaves something to be desired, in addition to a forgettable soundtrack. A good arena fighting game that promises hours of fun with friends, but lacks the shine that made Budokai Tenkaichi the success that it is.

Undisputed, despite its flaws, knows that investing in licenses of great boxers is a necessity for a game of this genre and uses this to its advantage, combining the use of images of timeless stars from the ring, a gameplay model as varied as possible for a boxing game, and visuals that live up to expectations. If it's not a devastating knockout, it at least guarantees a good points victory.

Throne and Liberty is a good MMORPG with a well-constructed narrative, combat system and progression, excellent visual quality and a vast amount of content to explore for solo and guilds players. Its only limitations come from what one would expect from a free-to-play game and the story that ends up falling into several clichés.

Predator: Hunting Grounds had a rough launch when it was first released on the PlayStation 4, and it's going through the same situation in this new release due to technical issues which continue to affect negatively the global experience. The assymetric multiplayer mode makes this an adaptation true to the source, but it requires constant balance changes to ensure both of the opposing sides are viable choices.

With a powerful narrative and subtle adjustments to the base game's quality of life, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred is a beautiful complement to the original game, a good "more-of-the-same", bringing another region and especially a very interesting new class to further expand this fascinating universe.

Honoring the legacy of what is considered by many to be one of the greatest games in history, Bloober Team delivers its best project to date by recreating, updating and expanding Silent Hill 2 in a majestic way without compromising its essence or art. The game has an impeccable sound design that makes use of the 3D audio, immersive DualSense effects, lots of details and a narrative experience that has always been exciting and psychologically heavy becomes even more intense, deep and terrifying.

Remnant II: The Dark Horizon expands the arsenal of weapons and items and explores a new story on the planet of N'erud by introducing more locomotion mechanics that often complicate navigation unnecessarily. The Warden is an interesting archetype especially for solo players and the addition of the boss rush mode greatly expands the game's replayability.

Mortal Kombat 1's story expansion is disappointing. A weak plot and an even worse conclusion. On the other hand, Cyrax, Sektor and Noob Saibot have interesting gameplay that doesn't make the DLC as a whole dispensable.

Enotria: The Last Song is a soulslike action RPG that manages to avoid being just another copy of other big names in the genre. Its unique look with an Italian artistic and cultural references aligned with its gameplay concept of masks and lines makes the gaming experience unique and necessary for any fan of the genre. A good debut title on consoles for developer Jyamma Games.

The Looney Tunes universe is still amazing, with classic characters that haven't lost their charisma. However, the various poorly executed mechanics for sports, the overall refinement of the game, and a visual style that doesn't do justice to the universe presented deliver a mediocre experience.

Although it fulfills the desires of those who wanted more Prince of Persia, Mask of Darkness is not an essential chapter to the base game. The difficulty spike shows that the expansion's intended audience is made of the players who enjoyed the precision platform segments, but the expansion doesn't add much beyond that, not even in terms of story and art direction. In the end, it's a good piece of content to play, but relatively unnecessary, recommended only to enthusiasts.

Cat Rescue Story has its tricks to seduce a younger audience and fans of these mysterious pets. But its simplistic mechanics inherited from its mobile roots, the shallow narrative setting and extremely repetitive cycles make it tiresome quickly, even for the most dedicated.
