Just Dance 2025 Edition is a fun experience that continues to expand the series' repertoire, between classics and new releases, delivering exactly what fans of the series want: more songs.

In a genre as competitive as metroidvania, Nine Sols shines with rewarding combat mechanics, challenging battles, and a gripping story that combines concepts of religion and science to create a unique setting.

G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra is definitely a functional beat'em up and, for a while, quite fun, even though it is extremely generic. It uses all the main conventions of the genre, but it is mediocre and poorly works its laughable story, it is tiring and repetitive, especially when playing in single-player and unfortunately it takes little advantage of the foundation of the franchise that lends it its title.

Quite limited in gameplay and short in length, Back Then is supported by its well-presented theme and an interesting story about Alzheimer's disease. Even so, it lacks content even to expand and delve deeper into such a sensitive topic.

    VED
VED delivers beautiful visuals. Despite the functional combat, the narrative is exceptionally confusing and bad. And, with that, it manages to make the title not reach its potential.

Planet Coaster 2 is a natural evolution of the theme park building simulation game in many ways. With endless possibilities to spark your creativity and the addition of water parks, it is the best alternative to create your own fun experience. The downside is that bugs, an unintuitive interface and poorly adapted commands in the console version may discourage less patient players.

Overall, Dragon Age: The Veilguard updates some of the franchise's most well-known systems, simplifying many of them in favor of a lighter tone and more straightforward narrative. While the art style and combat may divide audiences, the narrative suffers from inconsistencies, and the fluidity favors action over the strategy that is so characteristic of the franchise.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is a timeless classic with simple gameplay and narrative that engages and captivates the player. The title delivers a polished experience from start to finish thanks to its myriad of welcome improvements, stunning graphics, and delightful soundtrack.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is a very simple game aimed at children. Despite good graphics and interesting combat, the gameplay is generally very repetitive, there is no incentive to explore the maps and the dialogues are bad.

Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream is a competent offline and online RPG, with fun gameplay and plenty of fanservice. However, the title suffers from the simplicity of its missions and scenarios, as well as the repetitiveness of its activities and overly aggressive monetization.

Fun and refreshing, [REDACTED] is a good bet on the roguelite formula and delivers a game recommended for those looking for something like that. It may not be so refined or with too much content to last for a long time, but it's a good bet on the genre.

Mea Culpa brings a lot of good content to Blasphemous 2, especially for those who want to relive the experience of a new campaign. For those who prefer to focus only on the paid content, the return of the legendary Penitent's sword and the addition of new areas and challenges guarantee a few hours of fun, despite leaving the impression of being a short expansion.

Despite any nostalgia factor, Metal Slug Tactics fails to reach its full potential as a tactical game, mainly due to its performance issues and crashes. Being just "more of the same", the roguelite mechanics even offer more replayability, but with little variation in enemies and missions, it becomes just an ordinary and forgettable title for the genre.

Metro Awakening is a great virtual reality game. Immersive, interesting, challenging and faithful to the Metro universe. However, its pace is a bit slow, the story takes a while to get going and some moments, because they are "too realistic", can end up being stressful for the player.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has an amazing campaign, an extremely polished gameplay, and multiplayer modes that round out the package and give longevity to a game that will be played for a long time. It's easily one of my favorite titles in the franchise so far.

Slitterhead has a narrative that we can consider as an OK, however, it brings a generic and crazy mix of the Parasyte anime with a flavor of Beyond: Two Souls. With reasonable gameplay, half-assed graphics, a very weak battle system and bad audio, this game is not worth of your time or your money.

Blazing Strike isn't bad, but it fails to stand out in a market as competitive as fighting games. The characters and graphics are good, but the gameplay isn't very appealing and the story mode is terrible.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered features fantastic graphics, it is technically flawless, and offers some quality of life improvements. However, the original game hasn't aged badly enough to receive a remaster already, and revisiting it without certain improvements from its sequel is a bit odd. However, it's still a must-play title.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure manages to keep the player engaged in its first episodes, but the final part is disappointing. Having Max back (although with different powers) is a positive thing. It is a fact that the title is one of the most beautiful and polished in the series at its launch, even if some bugs and texture issues are present. Finally, despite being short, it is interesting to play it more than once.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake is a good strategy game with very functional and intuitive systems, accessible for newcomers and rich for veterans, in addition to an excellent use of its setting. The title does justice not only to the original game, but further elevates the entire legacy of the historic franchise to which it belongs.

Potionomics: Masterwork Edition is the definitive version of a great simulator. The addition of voice acting for the excellent characters and different difficulty levels, in addition to the great mechanics of economic management, potion creation and deck building mechanics, confirm that this is a game that cannot be left aside by fans of the genre.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead offers an interesting experience within the franchise, combining stealth elements with an engaging narrative. The setting and the need for silence create a constant tension, making players feel immersed in the terrifying universe of the films. The gameplay mechanics that require caution and patience are well developed, although they may seem slow to some. In addition to the lack of action, visual issues, such as frozen character movements, can harm the overall experience. Despite this, the story and Easter eggs, especially those that reference the films, make up for the flaws, making the game a good choice for fans of the series.

Awaken: Astral Blade has managed to grow into an acceptable and entertaining game, but it still has obvious limitations for its production ambitions. Although it fails to stand out among action metroidvanias, it also does not fall below that level and caters to those looking to explore an unknown sci-fi world in command of an anime girl.

Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is a great remake of a classic that deserves a lot more attention than it has received over the years. It is the perfect blend of the series' traditional systems and it has a greater emphasis on narrative that is rarely seen in the franchise. Its modernization solves many of the original's problems and, even with its limitations, it is a great experience for fans of the genre who want something different.

Wildermyth: Console Edition is one of the best digital representations of traditional tabletop RPGs. The way the campaigns and character development work guarantees hours of gameplay and makes you feel attached to your heroes and the great stories of the Yondering Lands. It's a shame that technical issues ruin part of the experience.

Even with combat that falls short of expectations and little presence of its biggest star, Kong: Survivor Instinct manages to capture the concepts of the so-called Monsterverse well and offer a good human journey in the face of the destruction caused by these great titans, taking advantage of a universal quest narrative and typical exploration and puzzle-solving mechanics.

Sonic X Shadow Generations is basically two excellent games in one. Sonic Generations is a remaster of one of the hedgehog's best titles, while Shadow Generations is a new game that builds on the Sonic Frontiers formula to revisit the past of one of the most beloved characters by fans. Shadow's gameplay mechanics are great, the levels are fun and exploring the White Space is great. It's a complete and recommended package.
