An undeniably good-looking and kid-friendly flight game, Crash Birds Islands stalls thanks to a miserly in-app payment system.- Pocket Gamer UK

Alice has visual flair, but she's a vapid romp, with platforming gameplay weighed down by its puzzles rather than uplifted by them.- Pocket Gamer UK

A slick adaption of a classic boardgame that's hampered by poor AI and dodgy online matchmaking, making it far too tough to enjoy with any consistency.- Pocket Gamer UK

In spite of some appealing presentation and a suitably epic quest, Illusia possesses a generic nature and ill-conceived controls prevent it from contributing much to the genre.- Pocket Gamer UK

Give it Up! is a super-frustrating rhythm game. Some of that frustration is intentional, but unfortunately some of it isn't.- Pocket Gamer UK

Clearly a clone of Advance Wars, Front Wars doesn't try to hide its influences. Nevertheless, it's worthy of investigation.- Pocket Gamer UK

It might not have the longevity of its legendary cast of characters, but as long as you don't mind punching things a lot, Justice League: Earth's Final Defense will keep you entertained for a while.- Pocket Gamer UK

Iron Finger doesn't snatch Wario's mini-game crown, but with some retooling it'd be a decent mini-game collection.- Pocket Gamer UK

It may not have any ideas of its own, but Song of Swords is still entertaining. However, you're better off downloading Battleheart, the game from which it borrows so much inspiration.- Pocket Gamer UK

Rogue Trooper Redux is an odd one for sure. It's far from the classic Rebellion claims it is, but it's un undeniably charming and entertaining blast from the past nonetheless. It's the videogame equivalent of watching an 80s action movie and simultaneously laughing at how ridiculous it is, while also feeling misty-eyed nostalgia for the days of yore. So take from that what you will. It's ugly, not a good cover shooter by today's standards, and a lot of the time it doesn't even work properly. But it's very reminiscent of the period, and will provide fun for those who remember it.- Pocket Gamer UK
