Little Legends is a cute, simple mobile-based MMORPG, but its energy system and server issues drag down the experience.

Felix the Reaper invites players into this rich, quirky, and tragically romantic world of hilarious deaths and bop-your-head-to-the-beat dance moves, but ultimately falls short on creating a more compelling gaming experience. Dive into it for a puzzle or two a day, but it’s not something you’ll likely be absorbed into from the get-go.

    To-Fu 2? It's barely To-Fu 1.2. A major disappointment

Twenty years at the top and Madden is faltering badly – this 'update' offers little in terms of new content and should only be considered if you've passed on the previous PSP instalments.

Real Boxing looks and plays nicely, but flawed countering and training systems unbalance a promising beat-'em-up.

A somewhat empty clicker game disguised as SimCity.

A solid and cute if overly simplistic take on Peggle, which sacrifices tactile unpredictability for a more streamlined approach.

You won't want to rock and roll all night with this hand-cramping game that doesn't have the right tunes to back up an inventive slate of multiplayer modes.

It has some shocking flaws, but Skater Cat is still just about good enough to be worth a recommendation.

Those looking for more of the same will get just that, but if you weren't won over by the original, an alien footy team from outer space will be an even harder story to stomach.

Nicely structured gameplay make Sam & Max Episode 1 playable, even if it's only mildly amusing.

An often-amusing love letter to the Zelda series, Anodyne Mobile offers plenty of 2D fun but is handicapped by the rushed nature of the port, which has resulted in faulty controls.

An über-casual time-waster which - like a knight tethered to a peg - ultimately fails to go anywhere, no matter how hard it tries.

Fun for the first few days, but you'll eventually find yourself wondering why you would want to spend so much money on rather basic gameplay. Thankfully, if you're patient you can enjoy what's on offer every now and again for free – and that's worth it.

A tough as old boots word game that's sometimes a little too cruel for its own good.

At its heart, Etheria: Restart is a solid turn-based RPG, but unfortunately, it doesn’t do much to elevate itself above its competitors. As a result, the immediate main story lull just isn’t worth it. You will need to invest a ton of time right away just to play three short stages of the story, and then you’re right back to grinding the joyless side content. You will have to be dedicated to the long haul right off the bat.

Fantastically funny and an unwavering faithfulness to the source material help make this rather average 3D action adventure worth a furtive glance – it's just a shame that it's over so quickly.

The central premise of Mad Tracks works fine and once unlocked the races are varied, but getting to them takes ages, requiring you to re-play the same courses with the same monotonous AI too many times.
