    A follow-up to the well-received Trenches, Stenches builds upon the unlockable Zombie Horde mode to create a full-fledged standalone game.

    If you were a big fan of the zombified challenge of Trenches' Zombie Horde mode, Stenches is a decent pickup; just don't expect as much value as the original.

    So Stenches isn't perfect, but it blends two genres together in an interesting way, and it looks and sounds great. The real question is, have you had your fill of Halloween yet?

    Stenches is a fun defense game, although if you were a big fan of the original Trenches, you will actually find more content over there than in this sorta-sequel.

    The introduction of the undead gives Stenches an interesting change of pace, but more variety would have earned it a medal of distinction.
