This is a deliciously tactile, malleable game. One of its levels is full of more ideas than most games on the App Store can cram into their entire run time. Plus it's beautiful. So very, very beautiful. I can't stress enough how good Monument Valley 2 is. It builds on what came before - in a very real way, it's a sequel about sequels. And its story about legacy cements ustwo's own position as one of the greatest developers working on mobile.

Wildfrost is a gorgeously designed and brutally unforgiving roguelike deck-builder that tasks you with putting an end to an eternal frost. The strategic depth and replayability factor alone make the premium price worth it - add to that the possibility of encountering a naked gnome and it might just be a no-brainer for you.

It tugs at the heartstrings in all the right ways, but even if you’re not a fan of bittersweet stories, you can still get a kick out of the jaw-dropping visuals - or at least, get inspired to grab a cup of coffee and take a break from the chaos of daily life.

Iris and the Giant is a unique roguelite card battler with engaging gameplay mechanics and an incredibly memorable story. There's a great deal of replayability here with its many, many collectibles, but at the end of the day, it's simply a heartfelt lesson on compassion - and heaven knows we need more of that in this world today.
