Coming in a polished package, with an excellent soundtrack and pleasing graphics, The Darkside Detective does the unthinkable and actually makes a point-and-click adventure game intuitive and doesn't have puzzles which overstay their welcome. The humour may not be what you're looking for in a retro throwback, but the design more than makes up for it.- Pocket Gamer UK
