Dragon Quest Smash/Grow is a worthy idle RPG with some engaging elements. But its initial promise of exciting Survivors-like action quickly falls apart. However, if you approach it from the perspective of it being a regular growth-focused casual RPG with plenty of more hardcore elements, you'll have fun. And both the visuals and audio have that familiar, nostalgia-infused Dragon Quest flavour.

At its heart, Etheria: Restart is a solid turn-based RPG, but unfortunately, it doesn’t do much to elevate itself above its competitors. As a result, the immediate main story lull just isn’t worth it. Comparing it to another feels like an insult, Wuthering Waves is just really fun in and of itself. I will be playing more of this, and I wholeheartedly recommend everyone give it a spin. The gameplay is incredibly fun, it looks beautiful, and you don’t need to drop a penny to win. Also, you can pet and feed at least one cat. Probably should have led with that and saved myself the time.
