    NBA 2K12 steps up and represents for Basketball on the App Store with its smooth and accessible gameplay; to mangle a quote, it's not the game iOS gamers deserved, but it's definitely something they needed.

    2K12 needs a bit more to hold my attention over significant stretches of time -- I'd love to see some sizzle from anywhere and especially from the action on the court. That said, I'm not sure the point here was to give me thrills; this is a simulation to the bone and all of its struts and constituent parts support its sharp, through pretty strict "action." If anything, this is a good start for a series.

    If looked at from a distance NBA 2K12 seems like a competent vehicle for playing basketball on the go. Sadly, upon closer inspection, the luster of an incomplete development cycle and poor overall execution of the sport's fundamental gameplay make it nearly impossible to recommend.

Throughout the game, the commentators audio always glitched the home team is always overpowered perhaps a bug for homecourt advantage. This game takes away battery like crazy and is not really worth it. I do not recommend you buying this at all… Expand
