A Knights Quest is not a bad game, I just find it hard to recommend it in an overcrowded genre of adventure RPG's. Its quests are bland, its animation and graphics are sometimes off and its gameplay a bit fragmented and sometimes repetitive. Overall though it is fun and if you really want to play an RPG of this type then this game can be fun and rewarding, it's just hampered by its lack of uniqueness and anything to really make it stand out from other games of this type. It has a few small issues but these can hopefully be ironed out in the future.- PlayStation Universe

Somewhat lacking the addictive qualities of some of the better games in the genre, Serial Cleaner still provides plenty of challenge and a decent amount of content for fans of stealth puzzlers.- PlayStation Universe

Clearly meant for those who have long been ingratiated with the BattleTech universe, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is an appreciably deep mech stomper that needs a lot more polish a better storyline and cast of characters before its appeal can reach beyond the outer limits of its dedicated fanbase.- PlayStation Universe

If you’ve got the patience and understand that Euro Fishing: Urban Edition is a challenging true simulation of the popular sport, then there’s no doubt that you’ll get a kick out of catching fish in its beautiful waters. Personally, we found it a bit boring.- PlayStation Universe

Beyond the bewildering decision to exclude multiplayer (and some truly awful characters), Trials of Mana is a very basic action RPG that might be good for kids or newcomers to the genre. Playing the game isn’t unpleasant, though it puts up very little fight for experienced players. Know what you are getting into, turn your brain off (and the character voices down), and you may enjoy cruising through its very surface-level gameplay for a weekend.- PlayStation Universe

Sometimes, having the most faithful remake doesn't mean it will be the best. I love Front Mission 2 and will always return to it, but this Remake may be hard for some people to accept and swallow with the lack of tutorials, hard-to-navigate menus, and a translation that could have used more time. It's still a fun game you must love to get through.- PlayStation Universe

Simplistic, light on content, and if played in longer sessions, repetitive. However, when played in short bursts and after you have got to grips with some of the games nuances it can be fun and rewarding. There are better skateboarding games out there without a doubt but if you have played them all and want to shred, Skate City does have its merits.- PlayStation Universe

Table Top Tanks shines as a tech demo but falls rather flat as a game. Still, recommending PlayStation Vita's most novel experience is easy when it's priced at $1.99.- PlayStation Universe

A highly enjoyable and delightfully chaotic racer is drowned in open-world mush that does little to enhance the core point of Lego 2K Drive. Nothing’s truly awful about that side of it, but it does drag down the fun levels of the racing itself.- PlayStation Universe

There's no denying that Throne and Liberty is a visual treat and certainly one of the best looking MMORPGs to come along in some time. Furthermore, though its massive world event battles impress, as does its innovative take on shapeshifting traversal, Throne and Liberty's flair-free combat, banal quest design and cluttered UI all weigh down a genre effort that deserves better.- PlayStation Universe

Bloodrayne ReVamped is essentially an easier way to play the original 2002 game, staying true to the original vision of the title. The flaws stand out now more than ever, ranging from visuals to stiff mechanics. At the same time, many of the ideas from two decades ago age well enough to make the gameplay work even by today's standards.- PlayStation Universe

In more ways that one, Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit is a first for the series. A new direction and a return to the classic horror roots that began the series serves as a reminder that these games can actually be a tense experience if they want to be. Doing away with the fluff that has shifted the focus, I enjoyed my time exploring these dense environments, when I could do so without interruption. Despite the clear passion and direction here, the experience of playing the game was far clunkier than it should have been, with some downright tragic bugs plaguing the experience during the review process. While I can see a great survival horror experience under the hood, I have to take into the account the issues that I had with the game. I really hope the team can address these in the coming days.- PlayStation Universe

When based on combat alone, Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections maintains the success maintained throughout the series. Unfortunately, very little accompanies it in this package, with the only worthy exception being a short but sweet Special Story exclusive to this game. A solid discount would make buying this game worthwhile.- PlayStation Universe

Legacy of Kain: Defiance is an overall decent remaster that does a great job of upgrading the game for a modern audience, especially with its brand-new camera. Everything else, unfortunately, is hit-and-miss. The visual upgrades are great in some areas and worse in others, and the additions of the Lost Levels leave a lot to be desired. While a solid game upon its original release, this remaster was the perfect opportunity to update and fix some of the game's more glaring issues with its sound design and some frustrating combat sequences.- PlayStation Universe

Kao the Kangaroo is a fairly decent, if unspectacular, platformer that harks back to a golden age of the genre’s 3D era in many ways. Sadly, it falls short of being a notable addition to a heavily stacked part of gaming’s history. That could well be its strength when it inevitably becomes an unexpected platforming touchstone for a new generation of young gamers in the way Croc, Gex, Crash, et all did for previous ones.- PlayStation Universe

Despite high production values, Modern Warfare II is a tad underwhelming. A pretty yet predictable campaign, decent multiplayer that is unsure about how it’s supposed to play, and the sweet taste of Spec Ops mean this is an uneven, but enjoyable enough package. What’s clear is Call of Duty really, really needs a proper break to reset.- PlayStation Universe

An 8 bit twitch platformer with a unique 2 button control scheme that will be polarizing among many players, Necrosphere Deluxe offers a good variety of puzzles and hazards that blend with a metroidvania-styled world to give the game an interesting flow and design that is ready to challenge even the most veteran players.- PlayStation Universe

Codemasters have dutifully updated their F1 template with the new car designs and the up to date roster of circuits whilst ditching the Story Mode for an entirely unrelated and pointless avatar clothes shop featuring microtransactions. While the racing itself remains superb, there's an increasingly hollow corporate veneer which undermines the core of the well-crafted game engine. I'd be inclined to stick with F1 2021 until the nouveau riche supercars and furnishings are jettisoned for 2023.- PlayStation Universe

When High On Life 2 is in its element it is good trashy fun, especially if you enjoy potty mouth humour. However, there are often too many issues plaguing the experience to fully enjoy, such as the bugs and the momentum-stopping puzzle platforming bits. In any case you'll likely enjoy what High On Life 2 offers, just ensure you aren't going to overdose on it.- PlayStation Universe
