Though Mirror of Fate's HD upgrade looks great and its entertaining combat is a good move forward for the franchise, it doesn't reach the heights of its predecessor.- PlayStation Universe

Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition is a history lesson worth paying attention to. Those weaned on modern shooters may find the entire thing visually dated and mechanically frustrating, but under that tough, ugly shell lies a finely-honed FPS with plenty of enjoyment to be had even after two decades.- PlayStation Universe

An overabundance of subplots aside, this solid episode reinforces the fact that Batman: The Enemy Within is on a trajectory to be one of Telltale’s better series.- PlayStation Universe

A unambitious and streamlined remaster of one of the better games in the Far Cry franchise, Far Cry 3 Classic Edition nonetheless provides value and satisfying open-world shenanigans in spades.- PlayStation Universe

The things that make Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey so appealing are the same thing that make it frustrating. Many things stand in the way of your progress, many of those things being mechanics, and rewards come sparingly. At the same time, there is something wholly unique here that, if you can properly sink your teeth into it, you could find yourself completely engulfed in it.- PlayStation Universe

Bright and light-hearted, Radical Rabbit Stew may not push the boundaries of game design but it is funny, heart-warming and never overstays its welcome. It looks great, sounds great and runs amazingly well. The amazingly oversized bosses are a joy to take on and due to the trial and error nature of the game, the quick restarts are critical. The game may as well be called Rabbit Baseball Simulator 2020 as you whack a multitude of the furry buggers into big cooking pots but if you need a quick puzzle game in your life, this could be the one.- PlayStation Universe

A nice but brutal little stealth game with an enjoyable multi-ending story. Classic Metal Gear fans especially will get some joy out of sneaking around Robocop-style biped robots in this title. The core gameplay and narrative are strong, but an absence of variety makes Disjunction just short of a home run.- PlayStation Universe

It's not every day that you get to play through a game that leaves a mark with its disturbing and tragic story, but Martha Dead was able to achieve something that got me thinking from start to finish. The game's incredible soundtrack and sound design are harrowing, and the visuals push the genre forward. It's just a shame that some technical issues and hit and miss tutorials hold the game back from true greatness.- PlayStation Universe

Potion Permit offers up quite the accessible life sim experience, making growth progress more quickly than most games in the genre. A bit of the luster is lost in this change of focus, but the product itself is a fun, engaging, light-hearted, and accessible time.- PlayStation Universe

Though short and certainly limited in a number of ways, Saga of Sins nonetheless leaves an indelible impression. With no shortage of imagination and a solid grasp of action platforming fundamentals, Saga of Sins not only impresses but provides an eye-opening blueprint for where a hopefully much more content stuffed sequel could go next. As it is, Saga of Sins is a breathlessly stylish, though overly brief action platformer that boasts a compelling setting that everybody should check out.- PlayStation Universe

Fans of 2064: Read Only Memories already have this game purchased. For everyone else, Read Only Memories: Neurodiver is a fantastic slice of pixelated cyberpunk world building, characters, and storyline. Some control choices don't translate as well to controller as they could, but that doesn't stand in the way of the good time that Neurodiver offers.- PlayStation Universe

There's no denying that Throne and Liberty is a visual treat and certainly one of the best looking MMORPGs to come along in some time. Furthermore, though its massive world event battles impress, as does its innovative take on shapeshifting traversal, Throne and Liberty's flair-free combat, banal quest design and cluttered UI all weigh down a genre effort that deserves better.- PlayStation Universe

Wrath of the Druids does exactly what you'd expect: more of Valhalla's gameplay with a new story arc. With a large amount of extra content for players, and a whole new region to explore that feels distinctly different from England, this expansion is a solid one for new and returning players. Just don't expect any major new gameplay changes or features.- PlayStation Universe

A solid open world shooter with a tactical flavor that adds a bit of variety to otherwise repetitive objectives, Ghost Recon Wildlands is at its best when you join a squad of real people, and lay waste to the Santa Blanca cartel together. Just don't go into it expecting engaging characters or plot.- PlayStation Universe

Legacy of Kain: Defiance is an overall decent remaster that does a great job of upgrading the game for a modern audience, especially with its brand-new camera. Everything else, unfortunately, is hit-and-miss. The visual upgrades are great in some areas and worse in others, and the additions of the Lost Levels leave a lot to be desired. While a solid game upon its original release, this remaster was the perfect opportunity to update and fix some of the game's more glaring issues with its sound design and some frustrating combat sequences.- PlayStation Universe

Code Vein II is fine, functional and can be fun-especially if you're able to get the A.I to do the dirty work for you. The Formae system is potent and definitely gives combat encounters a zesty sense of empowerment, and if you're invested you'll want to lap up Code Vein 2 with vigor-just go in expecting a largely safe soulslike and you'll be content with this one.- PlayStation Universe

While the inconsistent A.I. can be distracting, and the occasional problem with hit detection can be frustrating, it's a game that rewards patience well and there's nothing more satisfying then clearing an area of a dozen enemies with a round of carefully-placed headshots.- PlayStation Universe

Arca’s Path combines fun and accessible gameplay with an amazingly intuitive and inventive control scheme. What could have been a debacle is instead a triumph. Arca’s Path is a small game with giant ideas, and it deserves attention and praise for the ridiculously high level at which it is executed.- PlayStation Universe

A bare bones concept, lacking any consequence to choosing to pursue what the game is supposed to be about: strategy. Only the most diehard of Dynasty Warriors fans will try it out, otherwise buyers are better suited to sticking with Dynasty Warriors 8.- PlayStation Universe

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind leans heavily into the arcade era of video games with its look, sound and gameplay. It's a tonne of fun especially in co-op, but its short runtime will leave you wanting for more. If you're a fan of the MMPR series then this will definitely put a smile on your face.- PlayStation Universe

Maquette is just fascinating. It is a game that has one central mechanic and ties it into a narrative not often told by games and media. That unique blend of challenging, but mind-boggling recursive gameplay, jaw-dropping set-pieces, and heartfelt narrative moments really crafts an experience that mesmerises and stuns at every turn and is another great title from Annapurna.- PlayStation Universe

While Watch Dogs: Legion does the basics well and has a refreshing change of scenery, it moves backwards from Watch Dogs 2 in terms of characters and storytelling. It’s still quite enjoyable to get up to tech-based naughtiness in London despite that, but the underlying open-world template Ubisoft keeps using ends up feeling overexposed here.- PlayStation Universe

With a strict adherence to the style and performance of the original game, Destroy All Humans! brings all the fun of 2005 (and the frustrations) of the original. This is a game that was fun 15 years ago, and that fun still holds up, only now it has a shiny new coat of paint. Though some cultural references are a bit wince-worthy and there are some ridiculous difficulty spikes, in general Destroy All Humans! is a rollicking good time.- PlayStation Universe

If you're looking for an arcade-sim with buckets of content which combines all the best bits from Gran Turismo, Forza and DriveClub, look no further. If you're a Project Cars 2 fan hoping for an update to their favourite sim, forget it. Key sim elements are now missing and although it's a fine arcade-sim racer, it should have been rebranded rather than gutted for a mainstream audience.- PlayStation Universe

If you're looking for a decent Metroidvania, then Rusty Rabbit is solid enough, though there's not a lot here to suggest it's more than towing the genre's line rather than branching out in unexpected new directions. Collecting junk is enjoyable in Rusty Rabbit, but maybe it could've done with more fervor and less grit, even if the game's name informs you of its weathered vibes.- PlayStation Universe
