The ultimate collection of one of the most intriguing titles on the market - Spintires: Mudrunner American Wilds might infuriate and test the patience of many, but those who can push past such feelings will soon discover quite the uniquely satisfying endeavor.

Only a game due to the fact that one must handle a controller to experience it, Affected: The Manor is better described as a brief trip into a decently designed fun-house. There's nothing wrong with that, but there's also nothing notable about it. With no gameplay to speak of, Affected is strictly one and done.

Pilot Sports rigidly emulates Pilotwings, but doesn't bring anything new to the table. By inviting the comparison it only reflects negatively on what might otherwise be a reasonably fun but uninspired game.

R-Type Dimensions EX has everything you need to get back into these classics. A few adjustments made can take some acclimation time. Still, this is a complete package for anyone looking for an old-school arcade shooter.

Gun Club VR is exactly what it sets out to be - a game where you shoot real world guns on the world's most elaborate range. It turns out that all by itself, this is really fun. A bit of strange UI and glitchiness aside, Gun Club VR is well worth a look - both for gun enthusiasts and gamers that enjoy well made products.

Kingdom Two Crowns is an immersive and frequently surprising strategy game that is quite unlike any other. Fans of slow-burning, atmospheric strategy efforts with emergent discovery will find much to enjoy here - as would newcomers to the genre at large.

A fantastic turn based RPG whose colorful characters and vegetable puns belie the deep RPG mechanics that are planted beneath the surface. If you love terrible puns and space exploration, be sure to turnip for this one. I loved it from my head tomatoes.

NightCry goes beyond the usual borders of broken games and into new nightmarish territory. I have frankly never played a game as rife with issues as this one. If ever there were a game that could be labelled "unplayable", NightCry is the game. Outside of not loading at all, I can't think of another way this game could fail. If NightCry were the last game on Earth, I would not play it. I mean that literally. It's that bad.

An 8 bit twitch platformer with a unique 2 button control scheme that will be polarizing among many players, Necrosphere Deluxe offers a good variety of puzzles and hazards that blend with a metroidvania-styled world to give the game an interesting flow and design that is ready to challenge even the most veteran players.

JackQuest is not a bad game but it's not a great one either. We have seen it all before so there's nothing that will surprise you in any way. It has some nice Metroidvania elements and a few hidden collectables to find, and its simple battle system and easy to beat enemies means it's a decent entry level game for those new to the genre.

A deceptively difficult puzzle game hiding behind a chilled aesthetic which will be appreciated by those who are up for the challenge.

Anyone’s Diary might be worth a look for anyone interested in game development and this game’s particular history. The visuals on display are often impressive. But for the average player, I suspect that the game’s bugs and short length will be deal breakers. When a game is regularly erasing your progress, the best intentions in the world won’t save it.

Band of Bastards is a satisfyingly violent DLC for one Kingdom Come, and one that does a good job of making you feel like part of brotherhood of vagrants. Just don't expect anything that strays too far from the formula established by the core game.

A deliciously compulsive simulation of a busy restaurant which tests your mental agility and finger dexterity to the full. Humourous presentation and the couch co-op are the icing on the cake.

A funny, silly temporal romp that is well made and well executed. Any fan of point-and-click games will enjoy Deponia Doomsday. It has a light-hearted, comedic storyline that is well written and well performed. The art style is lovely and the game performs to perfection on a technical level.

Excellent turn-based strategy game, highly reminiscent to Advance Wars. Beautiful, highly detailed artwork that can sometimes be too 'busy' for the eye. Interesting storyline and world building that I want to see more of in the future. All told, a game that will absolutely lull you into playing 'just one more turn'.

With plenty of modes, options, and three mildly customizable factions, Warparty offers RTS fans a lot of content to chew on. Much effort was obviously spent building this unique world and its intricate mechanics. While the lack of multiplayer is disappointing, Warparty will keep fans busy with its blistering difficulty and fast-paced strategy action.

Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs delivers more of the time-tested Angry Birds gameplay that fans love, this time in 3D. With no learning curve and zero barriers to entry, this is about as accessible as VR gaming gets. Angry Birds offers a decent amount of content and a reasonable level of challenge. Some technical issues mar the experience, but the sheer fun of playing overcomes the deficit.

By only making skin deep improvements to the game and not touching any of the deep-seated flaws that lurk at the core of Gods original 1991 offering, Gods Remastered ends up being a largely disappointing and straight-laced remaster that will likely only appeal to the most die-hard of fans.

Ultrawings Flat is one of the most repetitive and dull games I have played. Offering up tired and simplistic mini-games, poor controls, and a bland environment it isn't worth taking to the skies, even for just a few minutes, especially given the price charged.

Ghost 1.0 has the heart of a beloved project and the soul of the best Metroidvania games in the industry. Despite its few quirks, the balance between accessibility and challenge, coupled with intriguing writing makes Ghost 1.0 a worthy pickup for even those with some curiosity about the game.

Figment is a very attractive, fun game that tackles some serious issues. It however tackles these issues in a very light-hearted manner and I appreciated that. It's perhaps a bit easy and simple but it's fun, bright and colourful. It will not take up much of your time but you may just take something away from it about fighting your own personal nightmares.

Don't let the massively blocky visuals fool you - The Last Door: Complete Edition is one of the atmospheric titles to come out in quite some time and one of the very best point and click adventure games the PS4 can offer right now. Don't sleep on this one.

Whether you are a fan of Ark, voxel-based construction games, or survival games in general, you will find something to hate about PixARK. A wild mess of a game, PixARK is one of the most off-putting experiences on PlayStation 4. Avoiding PixARK is imperative.

Offering a better experience than the Homecoming tie-in, the Far From Home Virtual Reality Experience is exciting and fulfils the 'I am Spider-Man' dream by allowing you to swing around New York as much as you want. Although it doesn't have much replay value, it is free and offers a fun twenty minutes of fantasy fulfilment in its Story Mode.

A hollow, crude experience with very little to do or see. I found it quite boring and unrewarding. Its saving grace was the fact it was free and a small amount of fun can be found when playing online with friends. There are far better games within this genre, even if it means spending a small amount of cash on them.

Though some aspects of DOOM Classic are crusty by today's standards, there's no denying that DOOM Classic is an absolutely ultra-pure distillation of the FPS genre and this PS4 port easily ranks as the best console port ever made. Get on this.
