Jan 22, 2019Holy Potatoes! We’re in Space?! sticks to its strengths, keeping true to their time management roots and nailing those parodies. That tutorial battle took me a little longer than I thought it would, but eventually I got the hang of it. There was some trial and error during the first mission as I had to switch my brain from thinking this was A Weapon Shop?!. But once I put on my Mal Reynolds suspenders, it was smooth sailing. Now I’m the best damn pilot in the galaxy, zipping all over the place blasting baddies out of the sky. I even have a furry sidekick.

Jan 27, 2019A fantastic turn based RPG whose colorful characters and vegetable puns belie the deep RPG mechanics that are planted beneath the surface. If you love terrible puns and space exploration, be sure to turnip for this one. I loved it from my head tomatoes.

Mar 4, 2019If the controls could be improved or modified, it might have made for a better gaming experience. The only other downer to this game is how short the experience felt. I’m not sure if the game is meant to be in short spurts, but I got about 10 hours of gameplay from the story before the experience was over. It’s certainly not the shortest game in the world, and the characters are wacky enough to make the experience entertaining, but I just wish there was a bit more from it.
