With such assured motion, incident-packed races and gorgeous stadium track visuals this should be an easy recommendation, especially since it’s a deluxe version of an already-polished series. But the harsh handling model and extreme sense of déjà vu suck out a lot of the fun. [Issue#187, p.85]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

For anyone already ingrained in the series, the opportunity to build your own team and take them online will be irresistible. But truthfully, for the uninitiated, there simply isn’t enough here to satisfy those of us desensitised by the bombast of bigger budget western games. Deliberately low on story but high on detail, Verdict Day is one for the (armored) hardcore.- Playstation Official Magazine UK

A lot of fun if you've got mates round and fancy something light-hearted as a warm-up to your next Singstar/Rock Band/Guitar Hero III sesh. [Mar 2008, p.112]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

It's not a disaster by any means, but the predictable, methodical racing is rather dull, and the new engine simply isn't running as well as the old one. [Issue#151, p.93]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Impeccable visuals and some slick, considered design make it one of PS VR's most impressive. [Dec 2016, p.87]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

A roguelite first-person platformer that demands to be replayed, City of Brass offers a level of freedom few games can match. It never gets old, even on your hundredth run-through. [June 2018, p.90]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

On its own merit, The Sims 4 is enjoyable enough, particularly with its rich customization. Compared to its predecessor, though, it's a life simulator that...well, lacks life. [Jan 2017, p.86]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Some great modifications, but lacklustre world design, shallow progression and awful cutscenes deprive it of traction. [Christmas 2015, p.80]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

More than an (unsteady) walking simulator, Among The Sleep is still in need of a bit more game than the comfort blanket of puzzles it cuddles. The payoff's great, though. [Jan 2016, p.90]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Low on longevity, but Slam Bolt Scrappers is loud, brash and brilliantly blocky. [May 2011, p.118]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

It's as satisfyingly competitive as you'd hope. London 2012 is the best athletics game we've seen in a while, even if the fact we can't guide the actual Team GB to glory puts a slight tarnish on its medal.- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Faithful to its roots, perhaps even to a fault, T&E’s new adventure is still a welcome dose of childhood to those of a certain age. [Issue#161, p.97]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

It’s a short, by-the-numbers thriller that’s enjoyably creepy even with the limits of the production on full display. [Issue#164, p.89]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Despite this the core grind of American Fugitive fails to both tap into the random chaos of classic GTA and the thrill that should come from being a convict on the run seeking answers. It’s a game that sadly can’t outrun the spectre of its own inspiration. [Issue#163, p.86]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

At least there's four-player multiplayer to alleviate the hollow AI racing. There's an even bigger spanner in the spokes than dim-witted drivers: it looks perplexingly terrible. The tarmac's shine and rubbering still pleases, but tracks themselves are super-low detail.- Playstation Official Magazine UK
