It doesn’t have the polish or refinement of SingStar, but it does have heaps of potential, and the career mode will keep you busy for a while, especially when you consider a SingStar disk usually ships with 30 songs and a Lips disk with 40.
-
Definitely a game for the casual gamer, tween or teen!
-
Sadly, the dated animations and blah presentation keep this title from being anything amazing, but singers will have fun with it if they lower their expectations.

Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaBeyond a party game with a crowd, there’s very little in the way of a compelling single-player mode here. Instrument-based games do a great job of making playing solo fun. Karaoke Revolution does not. [May 2010 p.79]

Karaoke Revolution has a pretty boring interface and career mode, but the gameplay is pretty funny. It’s got a lot of tracks and you are able to create your own character and stage. If you like SingStar or Lips, then this is a nice alternative.

Teenage girls can have some fun with yet another karaoke game. But for all the others counts: don't waste your lungs with this game. Our suggestion: More Michael Jackson songs next time please.
