Monster Hunter is back and manages to impress with its sophisticated gameplay, new and old monsters, implementation of Focus Strikes and good sound. The package also has plenty to offer in game hours, giving you a long run with or without friends. In that respect, exactly what you expect from Monster Hunter, but know that the performance is underwhelming and the interface could have been a lot more intuitive.- PlaySense

Avowed is a wonderfully accessible and relatively simple RPG, making the game truly for young and old alike. Audiovisually it is enjoyable and there is plenty to discover. The gameplay in itself is also very enjoyable, making the entire package impressive. However, the AI is a bit careless at times, which can lead to some crazy situations and dialogues can feel a bit two-dimensional, but with that said, Avowed is still a game to definitely give a try. Especially if you really appreciate this genre.- PlaySense

Although Eternal Strands brings interesting lore, features engaging boss fights, offers fun gameplay and has a nice soundtrack, the game also suffers from several shortcomings. For example, the combat is somewhat clunky, the physics are inconsistent and the game lacks a bit in variety over time. A decent game, but it could've been better in many regards.- PlaySense

Hazelight does it again: delivering a brilliant co-op experience that is full of variety in environments and gameplay. The compelling story captivates from start to finish and the challenge is more than fine. If you enjoyed this developer's previous games, Split Fiction certainly won't disappoint. The overall package is more than fine, although it could have had just a little more interaction for that finishing touch. But that's just a minor detail.- PlaySense

If you know the franchise well, then you know exactly what to expect. With that, Sniper Elite: Resistance is very familiar in everything, but at the same time that is also a downside: it offers virtually no innovation. Even in terms of content - apart from the locations and missions - it is mostly more of the same. The fine level design makes up for a lot in that regard, and the game is fine in its own right, but some innovation or progress wouldn't hurt.- PlaySense

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 builds on the foundation of the original, delivering an excellent adventure. The world is gorgeous and inviting to explore, the characters are engaging, interesting and fun, with humor not shunned. In addition, the gameplay is incredibly deep, if a bit inconsistent at times. The performance is also not always stable, but these are blemishes on a whole that is otherwise well worth playing.- PlaySense

This new installment takes a step forward in gameplay, making it feel both familiar and fresh. Moreover, the game has been provided with enough depth, giving enthusiasts plenty to explore again without losing sight of newcomers thanks to accessibility. Audiovisually, it's also excellent, though the base game still feels a bit light in content, but that will be supplemented in time. In short, an excellent strategic game.- PlaySense

Dynasty Warriors: Origins breaks through that stagnation with a cracker of a game. By deviating from the old concept as a spin-off, the series is firmly back on track: the story is presented in a fun way, the gameplay is unparalleled, the technical quality is good and the game offers a lot of content. For fans of the PS2 parts, there is even a bit of nostalgia to be recognized. Koei Tecmo shows with this that Dynasty Warriors is far from finished and they also dare to innovate with the concept.- PlaySense

With an engaging story, interesting characters and entertaining turn-based gameplay, Fantasian: Neo Dimension certainly manages to be worthwhile. Moreover, it also looks impressive although the camera wants to be a bit annoying at times. In addition, not every side mission is equally interesting, but you can easily get over that when you consider what the overall package has to offer. Lover of JRPGs? Then you're in the right place with this title.- PlaySense

After an earlier release on other platforms, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is now available on the PlayStation 5 and in the best possible execution. The result is an entertaining title that feels especially good thanks to its gameplay and variety of missions. The downside is that the story does not really offer depth and the gameplay unfortunately just does not manage to be engaging for long play sessions. Nevertheless, this does make the game a suitable title for nice in-between play in shorter sessions.- PlaySense

The successor to Fairy Tail mainly continues the line of the original with fun gameplay and cool boss fights. The interactions between the characters are also very entertaining, but on the other hand, it does not really excel anywhere. The game has technical sloppiness, lacks variety in environments and not all enemies are equally engaging. If you are a fan of Fairy Tail, the game is worth playing, although it could have been better in many ways.- PlaySense

This Metro adaptation for virtual reality impresses thanks to its immersive atmosphere, good controls and high level of immersion. Although the game does become a bit predictable in the long run, reducing the tension a bit. In addition, the story gets off to a rather slow start, but once it gets up to speed it manages to keep you entertained until the end. A decent PlayStation VR2 game, is the short conclusion.- PlaySense

Although Stalker 2 presents us with an excellent atmosphere in a world where there is a lot to do and explore, technically the game is a mess. The title suffers from many bugs and glitches, looks graphically outdated and the AI is not too good. Despite its long development time, the game is a diamond in the rough, which will get better over time, but it is a shame that the game did not release in better condition. Underneath the criticisms, however, is an exciting game that is nevertheless worth playing.- PlaySense

Always wanted to know what it's like to be Indiana Jones? Then this game is the way to find out. The story captivates you from beginning to end, the characters are very cool and the gameplay manages to offer enough variety that you will never get bored. With dozens of hours of gameplay, beautiful environments, excellent voice-acting and, above all, lots of fun, this is a game I highly recommend. The game has some minor technical issues, but they will not hinder the experience.- PlaySense

The remake brings several good quality of life improvements, new content, a newly recorded soundtrack and more. The visual style chosen also fits perfectly, making the experience feel timeless. So for fans and newcomers alike, this game is excellent to get in on, although it is a bit curious that a 4K at 60fps option is missing. Also, the encounter rate is just a bit too high, which can be a bit annoying.- PlaySense

We had to wait a long time for a new installment, but BioWare is finally back with a Dragon Age. The game presents you with an engaging story, lots of fun side missions, beautiful areas to explore and the combat is very enjoyable. Although we should note that the pacing is not always great and in terms of overall depth it is a bit shallow. A good game, but not the new holy grail within the franchise.- PlaySense

Metaphor ReFantazio comes with an interesting story, an outstanding soundtrack, beautiful visual style, engaging gameplay and an exciting adventure. Everything you expect from the game is delivered with a wonderful package that guarantees hours of fun. For this developer, it's mostly more of the same, as it doesn't do anything truly original, but what it does is top notch.- PlaySense

Sonic Generations returns in the form of a remaster as well as a new game starring Shadow. A somewhat unusual combination, but it works out extremely well. The levels are fantastic, the technical improvements are excellent and the performance is top notch. Moreover, the purchase price is very reasonable considering what you get in return in terms of content. Lover of the original game or just a fan of Sonic in general? Then this is definitely recommended.- PlaySense

While the concept of the game is certainly interesting, the title unfortunately falls short in many areas. The combat feels too clumsy, the AI is not very smart and exploring the world is constantly discouraged, which breaks the immersion. In addition, the performance is inconsistent. That aside, the game does excel in its stealth components and level design. The voice work is also fine, but to say that makes the game a must play. Not really.- PlaySense

The game is clearly aimed at younger gamers, so it certainly offers fun for them thanks to its accessibility. It also does not lack the familiar humor and the presentation is fine. At the same time, the game also has several drawbacks. There is little variety in missions, there are not many unlocks and the overall content is somewhat sparse. In itself a nice game, but it could have had more potential.- PlaySense

Guerrilla Games together with Studio Gobo is venturing into a LEGO game based on Horizon: Zero Dawn. The result is a game that mostly feels very lighthearted thanks to the LEGO humor. The voice-acting is also excellent and so is the combat in the game. At the same time, that is also the problem, as the focus is so much on the combat that everything else feels rather boring, which in turn is due to the lack of exploration options and very limited platforming. At its core, not necessarily a bad game, but it could've been so much more, because it has potential.- PlaySense

Mario & Luigi: Brothership resurrects a long-dead franchise from the grave, and we’re so glad Nintendo decided to give this series another chance. It’s a great game, although our biggest gripe can be summed up as ‘…but it takes a while to get really good’. The story starts off a bit shaky, but gets a lot better after a certain point. The islands are very unique and the level design is great, but the early islands are a bit small and limited compared to the later locations. The combat is also incredibly addictive, although you’ll have to wait a while before you unlock the most fun and in-depth features. Don’t let that spoil your fun, though, because Mario & Luigi: Brothership is definitely worth the time, for both newcomers and old fans. One tip: make sure you’re ready to fire your cannon in time when you sail past an island, because having to wait for your ‘Sail Island’ to sail an extra lap before you can fire again is quite annoying.- PlaySense

The story in Silent Hill 2 is rock solid, which is partly due to the excellent voice-acting. The revamped boss fights, soundtrack and visual presentation are also excellent. In that respect, the remake is more than successful, although we must point out that the combat can become somewhat repetitive due to the much longer duration of the game, and the resolution and frame rate are not stable either. Some points to consider, but otherwise Bloober Team does an excellent job here.- PlaySense

Treyarch delivers. The single player is substantial and engaging. The Zombies mode is familiar entertainment full of gameplay fun and the multiplayer is solid. The overall package is well cared for, looks good and sounds excellent. In short, a game you can buy blind as an enthusiast, although they still have some work to do because of bugs and spawn points, which are not optimal.- PlaySense

Where the first two chapters are strong, the game does not manage to keep that up in the subsequent chapters. The story is stalled, scenes do not make sense and a certain character does not come across as believable at all due to over acting. Still a shame, because this makes the return of Max Caulfield as the protagonist a bit of a disappointment. Despite these drawbacks, it otherwise plays away nicely, so fans of the franchise can definitely consider the game.- PlaySense

The return of this classic game in a modern twist works out well. Although the missions are not always varied and the game has some difficulty spikes, the gameplay is still excellent. You can expect dozens of hours of gameplay, there are many different classes and the battles are extremely entertaining. All in all, a must have for fans of the genre.- PlaySense

Super Mario Party Jamboree is packed with fun content, additional modes and the overall presentation is excellent. The multiplayer is incredibly entertaining and all in all, this is the most fun installment in the series to date. That the motion control minigames are a little less fun we gladly take for granted, as the rest of the game overshadows in sheer quality. Must have.- PlaySense

Visiting Hong Kong is a pleasure in Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, especially with the game's cars, which handle well. The game also certainly has potential and fun elements, but everything is grandly negated by persistent connection problems. Even a month after the release it's a challenge to be able to race online... In addition, the performance is lousy and visually it does not impress. With more time, this certainly could have been a good game, but its current state is not the best.- PlaySense

While the story is strong, the suspense is there well and the visual revamp does the game justice, the main question remains: was this remake really necessary? The awkward controls and technical shortcomings here and there also don't make it a very strong execution and otherwise there is little new under the sun. In terms of gameplay, there is little wrong with it, but if you have played or own the original, this release is a completely unnecessary buy.- PlaySense

Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO does and offers exactly what you expect from the game. A huge roster of playable characters, accessible gameplay, fine combat, stunning presentation and we could go on and on. As a fan of the franchise, you will be able to have fun with this again for a long time and if we have to be critical, the lack of certain tracks in the game is a bit of a shame and there could have been more “what if” scenarios in the game. But that's nitpicking, because as a total package this stands as a house!- PlaySense
