We had to wait far too long for Dead Island 2, but the wait will be rewarded. The game mostly does more of the same and that in a very pleasant setting. The Hell-A setting is successful and what gives the game its fun factor is the variety of weapons and ways in which you make the zombies suffer. Doing so with friends makes it even more fun, making Dead Island 2 a safe, but very successful sequel to some extent. However, you will have to be mindful of the new card system that is clumsily applied, as it interrupts the flow every time. Also, there is not much difference between the playable characters, but that does not matter much for the fun you will have.- PlaySense

Shooting zombies is still popular and in virtual reality, it's a bit more intense. In Zombieland: Headshot Fever Reloaded, you get an optimised version of the already released game. In it, you are introduced to pick-up-and-play gameplay, various weapons, perks and other features, making the action very varied and fun. The gameplay is also good that a downside is the number of levels, as you want more: which is a good sign.- PlaySense

Interaction and PlayStation VR2 are synonymous, which the game Cosmonious High proves once again. Enter an intergalactic school and discover all your talents by taking part in a variety of activities. The game is packed with content and fun to keep you well entertained. A great game for PlayStation VR2, but it is a pity that there is no real challenge in the game and you really have to love the visual style.- PlaySense

Playing air guitar to familiar songs in virtual reality is a gift we didn't know we needed. It's a pretty fun game to experience which is partly due to the good tracklist, the different difficulty levels and the immersion. One downside: the explanations are somewhat random, which can make it confusing if you're just starting out. It is also a pity that there is no progression system in the game, which makes it more of a game for in between when you have nothing to do.- PlaySense

Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is a somewhat unique game. Especially thanks to its visual style, which gives it its own identity. The voice-acting is also very strong and the combat can be called interesting, but it stops there. Indeed, the elaboration of this is not good and the interface is a disaster. Then you have the poorly mixed-up music and the artefact based combat gameplay leans a little too much on luck, which starts to annoy pretty quickly. Bottom line: the concept is cool, the execution leaves much to be desired.- PlaySense

A new game in a now familiar series. It is mostly more of the same, but complemented by subtle improvements and technical optimisations. This makes every race feel slightly different and the Supercross Park is a nice feature that gives you a lot of freedom to race. It is a solid game, but one that has to deal with issues that were also known from previous installments. A lack of real innovation, mediocre AI and graphically it is also not very impressive. Take it into account, but other than that it is a fun racer.- PlaySense

Capcom does it again. After a previously sublime remake of Resident Evil 2, they raise the bar even higher with the remake of Resident Evil 4. The combat is more varied than ever, there is plenty to explore, the level design is fantastic, the graphics are stunning, the audio is fantastic and we could go on and on. One of the best games of this year to date and a must play.- PlaySense

This game that serves as a spin-off of the Bayonetta series dishes out a fun story dressed up with a charming and colorful visual style. In terms of gameplay, there is plenty to explore, were it not for the fact that the game is on the easy side and therefore not really challenging. Also, the camera can be annoying at times and so no and then it looks a bit blurry. Points to consider, but for the rest a solid title.- PlaySense

The sequel to Octopath Traveler goes down the same route, so it plays somewhat safe. The strong stories keep you engaged and visually it is appealing, but be aware that the performance is not optimal on the Switch. That said, there is little else to fault with the game and fans of the original can buy this title blindly.- PlaySense

Wanted: Dead does not live up to its self-created expectations. There may have been people who worked on the game who also made Ninja Gaiden and its sequel, Soleil's game falls far short of this quality.- PlaySense

Hogwarts Legacy is a game that is right on target. A stunning environment that is atmospherically designed gives you the freedom to walk around freely, play with magic and, of course, fly around with the broom. The gameplay is varied enough to keep you busy for a long time and it doesn't get boring easily either. As a fan of Wizarding World, this is an absolute must have. The game does have some small technical flaws here and there, but it won't keep you from getting entertained for a long time.- PlaySense

As a new IP, Forspoken comes off quite well. For example, the story and lore is very interesting, with the interactions between Frey and her bracelet Cuff being enjoyable. Add in magical combat and parkour, and it creates a game that can bring you a lot of fun. At the same time, you have to take into account a very weak beginning and that it is very recognizable in terms of gameplay design. That is, it's more of the same and in terms of variety not really extensive. As a result, Forspoken is a game that is worth playing, but at the same time it doesn't really excel or innovate in anything very much.- PlaySense

Fire Emblem Engage is a title that presents you with an entertaining story and unique characters. Add to that tactical and in-depth combat, creating an excellent whole. This is complemented by colorful graphics and good audio. That the social aspects are limited and the activities in the central hub Somniel are not that engaging should be taken for granted, because the rest of the game is more than fine.- PlaySense

One Piece Odyssey is a game that will delight fans and newcomers alike. The more tactical gameplay does the franchise justice, and with plenty of content and humor, you will be able to entertain yourself for a long time. There are some minor technical issues, but none of these will spoil the gaming experience with the result that One Piece Odyssey is one of the better games ever in the franchise.- PlaySense

High On Life is a game that, in terms of writing thanks to Justin Roiland, is superb. The humor is fantastic, though you have to love it. In addition, the audiovisual presentation is also excellent, but the gameplay itself is not too special. It is not very unique or innovative, but thanks to the weapons, voice-acting and writing it is a game worth playing. Especially if you are into rough, on the edge humor.- PlaySense

Any fan of Marvel can get Midnight Suns without a doubt. Its many references to the MCU, well-written characters and in-depth gameplay mechanics make it a pleasure to play. The game is also packed with content, so you won't get bored easily. It is unfortunate, however, that it is not very strong graphically, but that should not be a reason to pass up the game. Recommended.- PlaySense

The return of a PSP classic we could not have wished for better. The graphics upgrade is very pleasant and the performance is excellent. In addition, the combat system is more than fluid and the New Game+ option is a welcome addition. Add to that a compelling story and characters and you have a must have up your sleeve. That the development regarding the latter is sometimes not deep enough is a bit of a shame, as are the here and there outdated animations, but that is fine to take for granted in this excellent remaster that is more than a graphical polish.- PlaySense

Need for Speed Unbound can be called one of the better games in the franchise thanks to its fine gameplay and fun races. At the same time, we can't ignore the fact that the police feels unbalanced and the game suffers from a lot of pop-in. Also, the balance between cars is not good and the checkpoints are awkwardly placed in certain races. Every positive point also has a negative counterpart, which ultimately makes it nothing more than a mediocre racer.- PlaySense

This game dishes out an interesting mythology that is complemented by a deep combat system, so it never gets bored easily. The colorful levels and high fun content then finish it off. Mind you, the game has some graphical glitches and the co-op feature feels a bit superfluous, considering it adds nothing and comes across as somewhat lazy. That said, Evil West is a more than excellent game in its own right.- PlaySense

The gameplay of Gungrave G.O.R.E is very cool in itself because of its brutal and unrelenting action, which is improved up by a delightful soundtrack. In the game, you are simply a bad-ass and that feels good. Were it not for the fact that the game suffers from difficulty spikes, a lack in enemy variations and inconsistent level design that can get on your nerves considerably. Potentially a very cool game, although it loses some momentum as you progress.- PlaySense

WRC Generations should be the ultimate final installment in the series, but only half succeeds. There is absolutely no shortage of content with plenty of cars and tracks, giving you hours of gameplay. At the same time, it is lacking in innovation and improvement, including relatively mediocre physics. If you already have the previous part, this is not worth it. If you are new, then thankfully WRC Generations has plenty to offer despite some shortcomings.- PlaySense

The captivating story is what keeps The Devil in Me going, thanks in part to the atmospheric setting. Were it not for the fact that the characters can be a bit annoying on their own and that it does start to feel a bit outdated technically. It's a more than fine game on its own that gently tries to offer a bit more interactivity, making it enjoyable. At the same time, though, it is time for innovation and improvement in several areas.- PlaySense

Star Ocean: The Divine Force is a game with many positives, but offset by just as many negatives. The story is fun, but gets off to a too slow start. The soundtrack is fine, graphically it is mediocre. And so we can go on and on. It is certainly not an unpleasant game, but it could have been better in many ways. However, for fans of the franchise, the game could be well worth playing.- PlaySense

This is one of the best Pokémon games ever made, if not THE best. This is due to its excellent gameplay, well-crafted audio, sense of freedom and engaging adventure. What gets in the way of the experience considerably, however, is the game's lousy performance. In particular, the frame rate is a drama at times, which can be a bit annoying.- PlaySense

Goat Simulator 3 is the sequel you would expect with mostly more of the same. Hilarious gameplay, fun references and an entertaining single player make this a game definitely worth a try. Technically, however, it's not perfect and could have been a little better, but don't let that stop you from getting started with the goat!- PlaySense
