Visually impressive and superbly executed, The Outer Worlds is the type of RPG experience that dreams are made of. As soon as the credits roll, you’ll find yourself wanting more. In this case, that’s a compliment.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth follows in the footsteps of its predecessor and honours one of the greatest RPGs of all time with another fantastic reimagination. The story is still as enticing and entertaining as it was before, but the unknown variables that this version adds to that, turn Rebirth into an entirely new adventure, even for fans of the original. There’s lots of stuff to do (fun minigames and side quests) and you won’t be bored, despite some areas being a bit too ‘empty’ from time to time and some blurry visuals. These are minor issues though, because Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a must-play in the genre.

This new installment takes a step forward in gameplay, making it feel both familiar and fresh. Moreover, the game has been provided with enough depth, giving enthusiasts plenty to explore again without losing sight of newcomers thanks to accessibility. Audiovisually, it's also excellent, though the base game still feels a bit light in content, but that will be supplemented in time. In short, an excellent strategic game.

Thumper is a fast-paced experience that will challenge you. It plays well in virtual reality and looks great. Long story short: one of the better - if not the best - PlayStation VR launch games out there.

Innovative, unique and straight-up impressive in the gameplay department... Ubisoft has created a masterpiece. Yet nobody's perfect, as both the story and graphics could have been done better.

Diablo IV effortlessly combines the best that the series has to offer. Including decades of refinement to it's successful formula, the freedom to endlessly experiment with your builds and loads of varied content. It’s visually stunning and it sounds amazing. Diablo IV exceeds our expectations, delivers on the hype and has us tight in it’s addictive and demonic grip.

This is one of the few truly unique titles on the PlayStation Vita and you should definitely buy it. It's not perfect - save synching doesn't work the way it should and we sure would have wanted some more albums to lengthen the running time - but then again: nothing really is.

Metaphor ReFantazio comes with an interesting story, an outstanding soundtrack, beautiful visual style, engaging gameplay and an exciting adventure. Everything you expect from the game is delivered with a wonderful package that guarantees hours of fun. For this developer, it's mostly more of the same, as it doesn't do anything truly original, but what it does is top notch.

Starfield is a fantastic game from Bethesda. There is an awful lot to do and experience in the universe, the freedom you get is extraordinary, it looks stunning, the gameplay is top notch and we could go on and on. There are some bugs here and there, like the NPC's look a bit unnatural, but these are actually small blemishes on an otherwise very good and fun RPG. An absolute must have if you like action RPGs at all.

It took a long time, but Bayonetta is back with a fantastic adventure. The story drags you in and the gameplay provides you with delightful action scenes thanks to in-depth combat and plenty of other things to do, to keep you entertained. Add to that an excellent soundtrack and you will enjoy it to the fullest. Other than that, Bayonetta 3 has some minor flaws, but they are nothing serious compared to the overall package. A highly recommended game.

Some texture problems and a handful of uninspired sidequests aren't enough to derail Final Fantasy VII in the slightest. This remake respects the hell out of the original, reinventing one of the most legendary RPGs ever made for a modern audience. Satisfying combat, phenomenal bossfights and impressive visuals... that's what you sign up for when you give this new version of Final Fantasy VII a chance.

Nex Machina might be Housemarque's best game so far. There's a lot of fun to be had here, especially in Arena Mode. If you're at all interested, don't hesitate.

Excellent gameplay once again, a decent story, highly customizable characters and fantastic gameplay tweaks ensure this franchise isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The online multiplayer is awesome as we've grown to expect from Mortal Kombat. The number of new characters might be a little sparse but don't let that keep you away from yet another fantastic game. A must buy for fans of the franchise.

NHL 14 doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel, but then again... it doesn't need to. Deep controls that are both challenging and accessible make for an excellent hockey simulation, strengthened by a large variety of game modes, state-of-the-art visuals and top-notch commentary tracks. If you're into hockey, you owe it to yourself to give NHL 14 a shot.

A suitable epilogue in which we say our goodbye's to Telltale's Walking Dead and it's all thanks to Skybound. The story, the pacing and the events make sure there is no time for quiet contemplation in this final episode and it's all the better for it. The story's primary focus on AJ works makes for the best conclusion the series could have ever had. We'll miss you!

The Pokémon game that we have been waiting for for years is finally here! A large gaming world full of fun references, cool and addictive gameplay, good challenges, and we could go on and on. Graphically, it's not a very pretty game and certain small things could have been better, but believe us when we say that you can easily look past that. It is the almost sublime gameplay that really stands out here. For newcomers and fans alike, this is a must-have.

The story of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 drags you into an adventure that won't bore you for a second during 70 hours of gameplay. The different characters are varied and all very engaging. The soundtrack is magnificent and the world has a lot to discover and do. The combat also has enough to offer to keep you entertained for a long time and although battles are sometimes a bit too chaotic, this is something you can live with. You do have to take into account a relatively low resolution, but that is mainly due to the hardware. That being said, this is a must-have for the Nintendo Switch that you can buy blindly.

The blue bomber returns and he never looked any better. Challenging gameplay is not new to the franchise but to those who love Mega Man for it, an excellent adventure awaits. The new additions freshen things up as does Mega Man's new look. Although some levels are considerably less interesting that others, it is something we'll gladly overlook. Because no matter which way you look at it; Mega Man 11 is a total blast from start to finish- pun intended.

Alan Wake II scores sublimely on almost all counts. The story is rock solid, the atmosphere is incredibly creepy, the level design is wonderfully strong and technically it is impressive. That some minor details and gameplay elements then stand out from the rest, however, is so minimalistic that the end result stands as strong as a house. Fan of the franchise, of horror games or up for a psychological thriller trip, Alan Wake II is the game to go for.

The PlayStation 4 version is an excellent conversion from an already great PC game. Very engaging gameplay with plenty of lore to discover. Great humor, lots of challenge and we could go on and on about its qualities. The graphical performance isn't consistent however but that shouldn't detract you from what is a fantastic game. You need to play this game.
