Baldur's Gate 3 offers fans of tactical RPGs and, of course, fans of Dungeons & Dragons a valhalla of gameplay that fits seamlessly into the universe. The many stories, the freedom, the in-depth lore, the challenging combat, the audio-visual decoration, the fun to play; Baldur's Gate 3 has it all together. Just know that the barrier to entry for newcomers in particular is a bit high and there are some minor technical issues, but thankfully these are more than overshadowed by the excellent experience the game offers.- PlaySense

Donkey Kong is getting his own 3D action-adventure, and it turns out great. The level destruction feels satisfying, the stages are varied, the presentation is vibrant and colorful, and there’s an incredible amount to do. The fact that the game might be a bit on the easy side is a shame in terms of challenge, but that’s literally the only point of criticism. Looking for an excellent game for the Nintendo Switch 2? Then Donkey Kong Bananza is an absolute must-play.- PlaySense

Doom Eternal is everything its predecessor was, times two. A surprisingly engaging story grounds the insane action, that takes run-and-gun gameplay to a whole new level of awesomeness.- PlaySense

Hazelight redefines coop with this game, a unique and creative title in many different ways. The split camera is something we haven't seen before and in terms of gameplay there is plenty of variety to be found here. Both characters are very colorful and interesting and as a consequence the story is great. And although the main story seems to cave in little by little as you progress, the game concludes with a bonafide bang. A Way Out is unique, original and very special. We only wish that there were more games like it.- PlaySense

Still one of the best games ever made... Made even better by PS4 technology. Shame the camera still doesn't entirely act the way it should, but besides that an absolute must have thanks to the unique experience, magical soundtrack and outstanding overhauled graphics.- PlaySense

Get ready for some old school gameplay combined with fantastic graphics, a great story and entertaining characters. Our only gripe with Dragon Quest XI is the crafting system which seems to be purely luck-based. Voice-acting is so-so but that won't detract you from what is a fantastic game overall. Recommended- PlaySense

Far Cry 5's setting is stellar and good for a tremendous amount of entertaining gameplay. Whether it be the main story, side missions or random activities, you won't get bored anytime soon in Montana's Hope Country. The game does owe a lot to its predecessors but ups the ante creatively in many respects. Also, the Seed family is a phenomenal group of antagonists.- PlaySense

Isaac Clarke's original adventure is back in a new format, which has more depth in story and freedom in terms of gameplay. As a result, the game is recognizable, yet not the same which makes for a nice result. The game also has impressive graphics and the audio is unnervingly strong. That the game has some minor flaws we take for granted, because this horror adventure is recommended to everyone.- PlaySense

Kratos has returned in a beautiful new adventure. Forget all previous iterations, this game sets the new franchise standard in which story, combat and exploration are expertly interwoven in spectacular fashion. The game looks and plays stellar while the voice acting is of mind-blowing quality. Atreus is a great addition and together with the new approach to gameplay the latest PlayStation 4 God of War game feels like a breath of fresh air. An unmissable must-play.- PlaySense

Rise of the Ronin shows that Team Ninja knows perfectly well what they are doing. The game presents you with an engaging story with interesting characters where your choices affect the course. The gameplay is excellent thanks to the accessible but in-depth combat and there is plenty to experience in the game world. Only graphically the game is not very impressive compared to other PS5 exclusives, but that should not spoil the fun. Rise of the Ronin is yet another recommended game this year.- PlaySense
