It’s the best RTS on the Xbox 360. Though this isn’t stating much, any forthcoming RTS will undoubtedly have to compare to Halo Wars in the future. Ensemble Studios did their job in creating an accessible RTS that newcomers won’t have too much trouble playing thirty minute sessions.

Despite a few shortcomings, H.A.W.X. is a solid title that will satisfy anyone looking for a new jet fighter game and the co-op play is sure to tie over friends looking for something new to plow through together.

2K9 finally sees the end of the bland Joe Morgan and John Miller era. Gary Thorne and Steve Phillips provide the analysis this time around, which is a huge improvement.

In the end, Eat Lead's story and characters have far more personality than the gameplay.

While it won’t blow your mind away, it’ll at least make you appreciate your Xbox 360 a little more than you did the day before.

The complexities of the fighting systems are incredible to take in. Hardcore Street Fighter fans will have a field day with developing strategies and putting them into effect. It’s deep enough to satisfy tournament loving players who’d rather win by skill, but it’ll also win over the praise of casual players who love to dabble with fighting games when they have a friend to play against and button-smash without worrying about Ultra Combos and Ex moves.

We never would have guessed it but they actually pulled it off, driving a motorcycle in LATD is a whole lot better than it was in the original disc-based game and we found ourselves using them exclusively during the play session.

But judging the game on what’s included, there’s just not enough here to entice gamers that aren’t hardcore NHL fans.

The game is a visual treat, with some great character models and environments, in spite of the industrial look of most levels. The ghost effects look especially convincing, with some nice stylized visuals to convey their movements.

These games may not compare to the powerhouses of today, but the extra content, eclectic selection of games, the low price tag, and no fear of jail time, almost every video game fan will find something they love in Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection.

If you haven’t had your fill of the Dynasty Warriors franchise, I’d recommend picking up Onechanbara for the absurd storyline and characters alone.

It’s gruesome, it’s vibrant with style and has Samuel L. Jackson providing VO’s; it’s a formula for success. But, as always with hack-n-slash titles, the replay value is limited and the action becomes droning within a few hours.

For 800 points, you get two hours of linear combat, new items, achievements, and a couple of holotapes that detail a soldier’s experience. I appreciate Bethesda giving me a glimpse into Fallout’s lore (future), but the immersion that makes the game so tantalizing is absent during the entire quest.

It’s amazing how little additions like getting off the board, fastplanting, and even sorting your replays into categories can have such a profound affect on the whole experience.

The Maw's clever concept deserves at least a cult following, even though the game itself needs a little more work. At the very least, The Maw earns enough good will to make you hope they pull it all together in a sequel that you would line up for if they make some slight improvements.

It passes out achievements like their cheap candy and there is a certain charm when playing as your favorite characters. It also draws heavily from the movies and, like it did to me, might reignite your desire to watch them. Yet, none of these traits make for great gameplay. With short campaigns, frustrating combat, and chaotic multiplayer LotR: Conquest feels like a $60 reminder that Peter Jackson makes awesome movies.

Prince of Persia is a game that tends to the casual audience while keeping the masochistic at bay. There are some hiccups that could have been fixed, but with a beautifully unique art direction that is unparalleled to anything previously done, dynamic and perpetually new environments with seamless acrobatic platforming, much can easily be forgiven.

The single-player is incredibly challenging as is the online multiplayer, so Capcom has given you the chance to reminisce with the beloved series once again and use any one of your favorite 17 characters from the roster.

There’s nothing particularly bad about The Last Remnant. Despite its flaws, it does remain a competent, if unremarkable RPG.

In the end, Sega’s insistence in holding onto these flawed elements transforms what could have been a truly excellent take on the classic Sonic formula, into a messy, ugly beast of a game. All these unnecessary nocturnal distractions end up outstaying their welcome even before you get tired of them, and this whole feral business is beginning to wear thin.

The lack of maps and variety in the weapons may keep some casual players at bay. Hopefully Valve will offer DLC to keep it fresh. Its mastery of teamwork and tactical demands will keep players online until then.

Much like the previous Sports Snowboarding games on Xbox 360, Shaun White Snowboarding is a slick and presentable title on the surface, which doesn’t have the mastery or depth to guarantee long-term entertainment.

Innovative, grossly original and lead by a high concept, Mirror’s Edge is the Jekyll and Hyde of video games. There’s a lot of promise inside the package that DICE created but it ultimately is a game that rests its laurels on its concept and nothing more. With no multiplayer aspect and a poor storyline that doesn’t last longer than seven or so hours, players won’t get a whole lot of bang out of their hard earned George Washington’s.

The sheer range of units is impressive, especially the naval ones, and even if they don’t quite transform the battlefield tactics in the way they’re intended to, their unique special abilities do provide plenty of fun.
