Also, after two weeks of Gears of War, it’s truly refreshing to see a multiplayer experience so streamlined.- Planet Xbox 360

WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 has the single best story mode I have ever played in a sports game, mainly because it features interactive storylines and well written dialogue and superstar match-ups with an exciting climactic ending.- Planet Xbox 360

Nevertheless, Naruto: The Broken Bond certainly has plenty for the anime enthusiast. The game flows smoothly, and everything in it feels just like it does in the cartoon. The only problem with this is that the game sometimes sacrifices its gameplay to deliver this very authenticity, and you might find yourself wondering why you shouldn’t just go and watch the anime instead.- Planet Xbox 360

We have yet to play a perfect video game but Gears 2 get’s really freaking close; probably closer than any action game has gotten before. Every aspect of the game: gameplay, controls, features, graphics, and audio have a triple A feel to it and during the first play-through every single gamer will get multiple “oh sh.t” moments.- Planet Xbox 360

The only reasoning I can see behind playing Legendary is to see the awe-inspired mythological creatures in action.- Planet Xbox 360

The presentation of the game, as a whole, is what really takes Fallout 3 and boosts it into a level high above most of the other games being released this year on the Xbox 360.- Planet Xbox 360

The biggest issue with Scene It is also what makes it such a draw for some. The singular focus on films makes it a title that all your friends can certainly play, but can leave non-movie lovers feeling a bit disadvantaged.- Planet Xbox 360

If you have ever played a Guitar Hero game, then you will feel right at home with the game play because it is completely unchanged. To me this is a good thing.- Planet Xbox 360

We came into our review with Spider-Man: Web of Shadows with only one hope, that Shaba Games would provide us with a great time playing through the Spider-Man game we have always wanted to experience. While we can’t honestly say that it was a total success what we can say is that the good times far outweighed the bad times.- Planet Xbox 360

The game successfully drives home the themes of poverty and desperation. The voice acting is also up to task, delivering solid performances throughout to keep you engrossed in the story.- Planet Xbox 360

But the greatest advice for gamers is to skip the offline and head straight to the online play if you want to get the most out of your game. Online features the opportunity to play with up to 16 players through several different modes. It’s hands down the best aspect of the game as, after awhile, you’ll become increasingly bored with the single-player campaign.- Planet Xbox 360

Dead Space is essentially your opportunity to play through a sci-fi horror flick; which is just about every gamer’s fantasy. It is a near-perfect package for those looking for to get their survival horror fix.- Planet Xbox 360

FIFA Soccer 09 is a step in the right direction with online play, but fails to have intelligent computer AI to give you a challenge by your lonesome. The on-field controls have improved though, at times, you won’t notice it since you’ll be exceedingly frustrated by your teammates kicking the ball out-of-bounds.- Planet Xbox 360

It was a bit surprising when we completed the game and found ourselves wanting more, lucky for us the multiplayer delivers just that. LucasArts really created something special with the “terrain deformation” aspects of Fracture and the way it is implemented into so much of the gameplay mechanics was inspiring.- Planet Xbox 360

Silent Hill Homecoming delivers one of the few solid survival horror experiences on the system. The genre used to see a release a month, and gamers are lucky now to get two a year. Homecoming’s great story calls for a rebirth of the genre, even if the gameplay occasionally does not.- Planet Xbox 360

Pure is, without a doubt, the most unique racer to release in the second half of 2008. Forget driving cars and trucks; pick up Pure and kick up mud with your own custom ATV. There aren’t any better options when it comes to off-road racing on the Xbox 360.- Planet Xbox 360

If Traveller’s Tales can figure out how to put a little more production into the graphical presentation and include an online cooperative mode, you might just see the next LEGO title as a potential GOTY candidate if they keep up their stellar success of churning out real winners.- Planet Xbox 360

The bare-bones presentation and limited versus matches leave some definite room for improvement. With a greater focus on co-op and story, the next Armored Core could be the first must-own mech title.- Planet Xbox 360

Between the steady stream of DLC and the ability to import your tracks from the first game, you are unlikely to stop playing Rock Band 2 anytime soon. The added ability to continue your World Tour band online, drum trainer, and daily challenges may sound like small additions, but they greatly enhance and extend the gameplay for what was already a must-own title; at least until the next Guitar Hero is released.- Planet Xbox 360
